    Hi

Could I join in please - hoping to lose 21 lbs in the next couple of months :)

I joined SW online last month when I bought a scales for the first time in years and nearly passed out with the shock of seeing the figure on it! Can't reliably get to a group so online it has to be and so far, fingers and everything else crossed, it's not been too bad with nearly a stone gone. Many more to go though. The sugar cravings do hit every now and again...:o

Welcome aboard to you both :hello:

Well I'm back home after lots of lovely scrumptious cuddles with baby nephew :D He was just under a smidge under 8lbs born (last Sunday) but he was soooo tiny. He is a little sleepy head during the day and a night owl in the evening :rotfl:

Oh well back out again in a few minutes. Will be having salmon, new pots and either salad or veggies for meal tonight. Been syn free all day so that I can have a bit of indulgence tonight ;)

Some great targets rolling in for new Challenge.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks so much for starting the new thread shala.

I had a busy day yesterday and when I got online the site was down.:(

Had a few too many syns last night as decided to eat one of DH's cookies as well as chocolate on top of planned syns. Yes, my DH eats the Alpen Lights although I buy him his own biscuits so last night I got my own back.

Having a few extra syns tonight as the chicken stir fry has some honey in it and we're having a couple of spring rolls. The coming week looks pretty clear though (except for maybe Thursday lunchtime) so plenty of scope for reining back.

:T to everyone who's lost since I last checked in.

lush, I'd ignore that apple. You aren't eating excessive amounts and you can get any spoiled fibre elsewhere. It's hardly worth bothering with. I'm going to make more braised red cabbage for the freezer (one of Aldi Super 6) and there's apple in that but I'm not counting it. By the time it's spread between the portions it's negligible.

Where are you going in France beanie, and when?

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, fried egg, tomato, mushrooms, spring onion and melon
D: chicken stir fry (mange tout, peppers, mushrooms, spring onions, carrot) with rice and maybe SW chips
Syns: scrape of spread, honey, spring rolls, weekend wine

    Hi all

Loving the new thread - thank you shala for setting it up for us.

Some amazing targets for October will be fantastic if we all get there.

Busy day for me today so have been on my feet nearly all day. Lots of BM thought so that's good.

    Menu for today:
breakfast: omlette with bacon, peppers, onion, potato and mushrooms
    lunch: fruit and yoghurt
dinner: SW burgers with some pulled pork and a roll, sw chips and salad

syns will be on fizzy wine again!!!
  • Could I please join in with 10lb please.

I lost a stone by going to a local SW group but work means I can't make the meetings any more so I've joined online.

I need a challenge though to make me keep at it.

    Grocery challenge February £100.91/£190
  • Hello All

Welcome to all newbies to our challenge looking forward to getting started. One questions regarding the challenge if it starts on the 31st and I get weigh in is on 1st does that count as my first week on the challenge?

I have been busy in the kitchen today I started off with the slimming world quiche which I was uncertain about at first as I don't like normal quiche but it was yummy really enjoyed it. I then made syn free Pimms which I am currently enjoying very nice. I have then made my chickpea dahl muffins to go with my chicken curry for tea and finally made red pepper hummus for later my husband didn't enjoy all the washing up...

This week as been hard as been a away and im out on bank holiday but hopefully my hard work will show on the scales on Tuesday
