I did a trick, I used autotrader and used the option to help me find a car, there was some options to set the insurance, tax, fuel, etc to the lowest or low, well, some cars like Citroen c4 and ford focus looks better than the small ones and the ones with more than 100k mileage, however, the next strange and disappointing thing is the insurance for them, I used 2 websites and it costs £1700 to £2300. I'll open a new thread to get your ideas about how to deal with insurance now0

Yes but 206 is medium/good not damn small
No, it's damn small
The 206 is also very cramped inside, with pedals offset to the left (ergonomically the car is poor -- the steering wheel is offset also).
The cars are designed for left-hand drive, with right-hand drive adapted as an afterthought -- in a LHD car the offset to the right is OK as you are not reaching over to the right with your left foot to use the brake.
If you are tall (or stocky for that matter), you are likely to get severe cramp from this car. I went through a month of nasty sciatica as a result of driving one of these as a loan car about 10 years ago. Never again.
It depends on whether your personal driving position can tolerate this though -- the only way to find out is to drive one for a few days
The 206 is by no means the only vehicle with this kind of problem -- I found that on the Ford Focus, the brake pedal was too far to the left for me, although the accelerator was OK. The worst I've driven though was the Ford Transit which is positively horrendous ergonomically -- that thing had me in pain within 15 minutes of jumping in.
Some folk might not like this arrangement, but I've always preferred the Mitsubishis in this regard -- they place the brake pedal next to the accelerator so it's easy to go from one to the other by heeling it, with a larger gap between the clutch and brake pedal. Some other marques are like this as well. If you're tall, this is a much nicer arrangement.0 -

Hello again, I'm back
What do you think about Volkswagen cars like Polo or Lupo ?
Any ideas about cheap to run cars are welcome, specially if the car is not too small .
Cheers0
