I did a small research and customized the auto-trader search function, there is some cars with Band B Mpg, which makes your tax £35 per year, and they uses less petrol and they got the lowest possible insurance as well, I will list them here and hope that I am right so it can help others, here is a few of them :
Peugeot 207 1.6 HDi
Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi
Renault Clio 1.5
Citroen C3 1.4 HDi
Renault Megane 1.5 dCi
Ford Fiesta 1.4
Citroen C3 Desire HDi0 -
honestly with how few miles you do try not to get hung up on a diesel as so few miles will not allow them to get hot - this being said the ones you have listed should not have the dreaded DPF so thats one less thing to worry about
as has been said for 2k, if you can cope with a small car the hyundia i10, kia picanto and the fiat panda petrols could all be a good shout, and in real life for short journeys could easily give you better mpg than a diesel due to the time required for the diesel to get up to temperature and so give the best mpgDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

gonzo127 : Thanks a lot, well, honestly if I had to go for those 3, I'd like to go for a 206, is there anything wrong with that? any advice would be appreciated.
AdrianC : This is very strange, the site that I've found them said tsome of them are petrol
1952573 : Ford Focus Zetec looks nice as well as Ford Focus 2006 ! Like it very much.:T
I'm taking advice, just really not interested to use card-box sized cars

The only one of that list that _might_ be petrol is the Fiesta - they were available with 1.4 petrol and 1.4 diesel, IIRC.1952573 : Ford Focus Zetec looks nice as well as Ford Focus 2006 ! Like it very much.:T
Umm, you do know they're both pretty much the same car - Zetec is just a trim level, what toys/seat material it has - a size bigger than the Fiesta? Same size as the Megane from your list, while all the rest are the same size as the Fiesta.0 -
Yes looks like the same, and its 1.6 and still not sure what to do
