Last time I tried that it was all spluttery and buffery.
PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)

This thread started a while ago so maybe nobody will read this.
I live in a village on the Herts/Essex border. At the moment a company called Gigaclear are putting in a network to the village. Although I have been moaning about the slow (1.4Mb/s) and intermittent internet here for years, I haven't yet signed up to the new one as it is so expensive - about £15 per month more than I currently pay, for a service which promises huge speeds (faster than I would want - I'd gladly pay a little extra for 5 or 10Mb) plus the cost doesn't include a land line.

Has anyone used this company and have any comments?
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
  • Hi there.

You probably may not read this (your post being rather a while ago) but if not it might cheer somebody.

There is a new cabinet in Pyworthy (junction of Shortlands) and I stopped this morning to ask the engineer working on it whether the village rumour of fast broadband here could possibly be true?

He replied that when they put the "sticker" on it then it should start being offered.

Whether this will come to pass is another matter, but at least in February 2017 there might be some cause for hope? :)

    Best Regards
