I first noticed this amazing thread this evening so decided a read all the posts. My heart goes out to all of you that have a diagnosis and those of you that have family and friends that are also suffering.

You are all so brave to post your stories and thoughts on here. I am sure that your stories and thoughts about your experiences will go such a long way in helping others to cope.

Minimad sending you hugs. It is so difficult when you know there is only one outcome, and all we can hope for is a peaceful passing for our loved one

I lost both my Dad and then Mum to this dreadful disease

Thank you to all you amazing people for sharing your 'stories'. Cancer is a nasty *b*, I watched as it took my big sister and my Dad. I'm sure it will help so many people being able to come here for a chat with people who understand. I wish you all love and strength xx

My Mum passed this morning. Although it's extremely sad for those of us left behind I do feel a sense of relief, for her and for all the rest of our family. Thanks for your kind messages.
