Glad the chemo wasn't too bad for you. I hope your oncologist has positive news.
I had a scan in December and it showed some shrinkage in mine, and I had my last chemo yesterday. I was having a mild dose of taxol, weekly, 3 weeks on, one week off, since August, so it's been a long slog.
I lost a lot of hair, but not all of it, so never wore my wig. Still have most of my eyebrows, and those darn chin hairs held on tightly, even had trouble plucking them out!
I have been suffering a lot of UTIs though, and ended up with a week in hospital with one that got to my kidneys. That was horrible as I was stuck in a large ward with mostly elderly male patients, a few of which were confused and kept wandering and shouting, even at night.
It's left me petrified of ending up back in there, so I'm glad my chemo has finished now and hoping my immune system picks up.1
