Wouldn't the PPC just jump ship to the IAS in that case?

In theory, if they had a load of sanction points then they would also be held to apply at the IPC, so if more than 12 then the IPC would reject them too.

I say 'in theory', God knows what kind of values the IPC ACTUALLY hold up as opposed to what they say they do.

No, at DVLA's insistence any PPC moving from one ATA to the other takes its sanction points with it, so a PPC kicked out by one ATA would automatically be kicked out by the other.

Why do you think Clever Trevor hasn't joined the IPC and instead tried (unsuccessfully) to get DVLA access by joining the CSA?

But, but .... if BPA have 12 sanction points to a ban, maybe the IPC has a different exchange rate and 12 BPAs are 5 IPCs, so they'd still be 7 IPCs away from a ban? :D

    (e.g. 12d = 5p, for those who remember old money) :D

Maybe 12 BPA can become 0 IPC for the exchange of either:
    • A brown envelope full of money.
    • A large chocolate bar.
    • A large cake
    • Something else entirely.
Which is it? I leave that up to you, dear reader ;)

The OP's case of UKPC's alleged fraud have hit the press as of yesterday! The second link is to even more complaints of the same tactics at the same site which hit the press this morning ...

This is so frustrating! What should my next step be?

As suggested, write to the Chief Constable of Lincolnshire, Neil Rhodes ...

    neil.rhodes@lincs.pnn.police.uk should get you somewhere.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a postal address other than Lincs Police HQ ...

PO Box 999 <--- Haha! Made me titter at any rate!

The Prankster's picked up on this, too. Looks like possible wholesale fraud going on at UKPC.

Now, any reputable company would, when faced with this clear dodgy practice going on in some of its car parks by some of its employees/agents would:
    * Immediately review ALL tickets issued by those agents
    * Put in place a process whereby tickets issued by the same process were all audited before being sent to keepers
    * Change the technology to make it tamperproof

But, of course, we're not talking about a reputable company here, just one that is perfectly happy to ignore it (and by turning a blind eye to what may only be dodgy practices by its agents even when informed of it, become accessories to the fraud).

UKPC, you have the opportunity NOW to stop this, the choice is yours.

"Its easy to do this, use two cameras one set 2 hrs 15 minutes later than the other"
    No need for photoshop etc.

This is exactly what happens when you have profit making unregulated entities enforcing in this type of environment, and have incentivised staff issuing the (fake) tickets.

Oh but didn't Patrick Troy deny that last fact, which we all know is true!
