Let us see if this gets to court. If it does, and they are found guilty, then they must be severely sanctioned.

I for one will move heaven and earth to get them banned from my Housing Association property.

    It's going nowhere near court:-

Action fraud: “This report has been assessed by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and will not be sent to a police force for investigation.

“Contact has been made by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau with UKPC who have implemented their own internal measures to resolve the situation."
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

What about Trading Standards? This may be a spit in the ocean to NFIB, but it is meat and vegetables to them.

Is it just me, or is it absolutely ridiculous that UKPC operatives repeatedly and over a sustained period of time committed fraud, and yet the BPA only applies 8 points?

I think there's a multiplication factor relating to the size of the PPC/Subscription fees.

So, while Trev gets 16 pts for incompetence (although admittedly he lies through his teeth about paying Principals £100 every time someone parks slightly over a white line) his scaleback factor is a lot less than UKPC's who can get their fraud sanctions scaled back to 8.

What a load of BS!! Who cares what UKPC will (or won't) do in the future. Crimes have been committed, and prosecutions should result. Murderers don't get off being prosecuted if they promise not to do it again. Action Fraud seem to be as big a fraudster as UKPC, The BPA and, of course, our friends the DVLA.

OPC and its director were convicted of more than 30 criminal offences and didn't get chucked out of the BPA, so I don't know why anyone would expect it to be different with UKPC.

If incentives are to be banned in the CoP what happens to kickbacks for self-ticketers?

Quite. I can't see incentives for wardens disappearing, they will just be kept hush-hush.

  • however every time that "Norris cole" takes a photo , is going to be a good time to flood the DVLA with questions as to why they are paying an incentive scheme , whilst being against the BPA code of practice ,

and questioning the legality of giving your info away

Yes, Norris Cole incentives can't be kept hush-hush, they are part of the sales pitch.
