Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I knew it had UK in the name. ;)

But hasn't there also already been a UKPC one as well? (I know they featured on the Sheriffs programme for owing wages to an ex-employee).

Today's Sunday Times has a feature about UKPC's DVLA suspension , but then spoils it all when it talks about "thousands of car parks descending into a free-for -all".

On a similar note, I thought that the results of BPA Ltd's investigation was supposed to to announced last week. What's happened to that?
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Can't upset ukpc, the bpa owe too much money to London Councils. I wonder how many/how much the ppc's owe the bpa?

That article might just be a BPA plant. ;)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Parking operator sanctioned after fraudulent tickets issued at Lincoln car park:-

It will be interesting to see what this sanction entails. Nice to see that the BPA cop will ban financial incentives for PPC staff.

Interesting reference to a minimum 10 minute grace period; although I'd suggest that it will also be the maximum as well!

Since then, the BPA has concluded an investigation into the allegations made against UKPC, and has disciplined the company in accordance with its Scheme of Sanctions.

The BPA did not disclose the exact sanctions applied but said that its investigations “highlighted the need to update our Code of Practice, to make it absolutely clear that the practice of offering financial incentives to parking attendants/wardens which relate to the quantity of penalty charge notices issued by them is wholly unacceptable.”

Well, that's all ok then! So it obviously now takes more than fraud to get expelled from the BPA?

You know what, I'm actually feeling a tinge of sympathy for owd Trev, who was kicked out primarily for being a bungling clown, but well short of being a fraudster!

Presumably it's also now business as usual with our friends in Swansea?

All a bit of a whitehouse (oops, whitewash!).
