Default for a joint account on wifes file but not mine

Wife and I had a joint account with Bank of Scotland.....when things went belly up they defaulted us and sold the debt to Idem.

The bank of scotland account shows in the closed section of my credit report, and the Idem shows in the current section.

On my wifes report both bank of scotland and idem show as current on her credit report......

why have they closed mine and not hers?

We have recently paid off the balance and are waiting Idem to update the credit file, my concern is the bank of scotland default will still be showing as current on my wifes file

any advice always welcome
