I have paid more than I anticipated towards my debt this month £363.92 :j. The payments are likely to be irregular due to my income but I aim to clear a minimum of £200 per month off of the CC's. I need to snow ball, I absolutely dread it as I feel I will be paying off my debts for my whole lifetime!
My debts as of today are:
CC T***O - £180.00
CC BOS - £3275.00
CC Llo*** - £2,245.47
CC M**A - £13, 964.00
Bank of M&D - £4300.00#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

If it were me I would probably pay that little one off first, regardless of interest, and then start snowballing. Can you move any of them to 0%? How keen are M&D for repayment?Grateful to finally be debt free!0

I have to pay my minimum payments but if I have any left over I will deffo throw it at the little one and be rid!! Some of them are 0% and some are partial I believe? BOS 0% is coming to an end in Oct I believe so may be able to move to T****O? Bank of M&D are in no rush so I haven't paid anything yet#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

Evening all
I had quite a productive day on the meal front today, using up the leftovers and creating some meals for the freezer...so no excuses for nipping off to the shop tomorrow to grab a sarnie at lunchtime. It's also be a NSD! yay
I have made:
Bread
Pizza dough
Chilli
Split peas soup
Bean and vegetable soup
Hopefully won't have to resort to the lentils just yet!! Maybe next week.. as I checked my bank account today and I have £36 to last me until the end of the month...yikes!! Maybe in my haste to debt bust I have left myself a little short....especially as I have to top up on fuel
Thankfully I am owed £60 and also awaiting £40 from Onepoll, it's only taken about a year to build up that £40 and appears to take forever to pay out! Let's hope it arrives soon...and just maybe I will have a little left over to pay a bit more to the DEBT cards. Wouldn't that be grand!?

Morning All
Wow, had a major shocking revelation when I snowballed yesterday...I think I will be paying my debt off into reincarnation  ...it seriously scared me!!
I can really see how people get depressed with debt hanging over them...well, I have myself. However, I am now going to try and put that snowballing revelation out of my mind and remain positive...I MUST remember that I am now tackling my debt and no longer adding to it!
Well, I am off to work soon and can waddle off happy in the knowledge that I have my lunch box packed with healthy and nutritious food, rather than handing over my hard earned cash to a rip off supermarket! Happy days#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

Have a good day. Maybe try and set yourself some milestones?instead of looking at where you are with paying the full amount. I just did a month where I focused on paying just the amount that was on my expired rate card, have now got all the rest of it onto a 0% for 15 months deal. So that's a small win. Keep focusing on those.

Can you maybe throw a token amount, say 50p into a tin every time you bring lunch to work. It will help you see the savings and you could make an additional credit card payment each month based on what's in the tin.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Evening All
Well it would have been a SFD today for me today if I hadn’t topped up on fuel...that was 20 quid, so I am left with £16 until pay day..doh! No sign of the £100 I am owed...so I am going to resort to being super frugal! Went to work well prepared with lunch and snacks (dates stuffed with blue cheese and walnuts...yummy) and no secret sarnies were had; ate leftover mushroom risotto tonight...can’t be all that bad heh?!
Felt a little down tonight looking at the figures and thinking about this debt ...it feels as if I will never break free! Been reading a really interesting book on Getting out of Debt which is helping me to put the wheels in motion to break free from this prison! I know one step that I need to make is to cut up all the credit cards, I don't know why but I am finding this a challenge right now...FEAR
My budget for next month is not currently looking good but i am banking on some fuel/parking expenses owed from the last 3 months to be in my pay pack, here's hoping for a super surprise!
On a +ve I have spontaneously listed my spare bedroom to try and find a lodger. I did it before when I was off of work sick and it worked really well...hoping to have a bit of luck finding a nice new lodger...fingers crossed x#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

Whoop whoop...the £40 owed by OP has just landed in my account...I now have £56 until pay day!! Yay
So what do I do? Do I set myself a mini challenge is to see how much of it can I save until payday?
OR
Pretend I don't have that £40 and try to survive on the £16?
