For anybody unaware of the threats those lovely Corbynistas have been making towards Laura Kuenssberg:

Laura Kuenssberg of the BBC is covering the Labour Party conference in Brighton accompanied by a bodyguard.

...John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, think this is something to joke about. ‘She should tell them John McDonnell will sort ‘em out,’ he smirked this morning, as the Labour conference rolled on with speech after speech about the party’s commitment to equality and justice and kindness.

Isn't this a step forward, normally they bankrupt the country with no plan....

Make sure you have all the medicines you need stockpiled before the next election as Greece (and Venezuela) demonstrated what happens when you don't have anything that the drug manufacturers will take as payment....
    I think....

Many here think the policies of labour are crackers yet the Tories only managed to scrape into government by bunging the DUP a few quid.

Maybe time would be better spent on a 'Torynomics' thread where we offer useful tips to the Tories that would allow them to expand their majority.

This news has given me the confidence that labour will be able to manage the crisis that they will have caused.

The Tories had won the last two elections. The electorate was sick of them, as the electorate is virtually always sick of two-term parties. It was Labour's turn, and they ballsed it up.

Corbynomics can only be afforded - up to some extent - if we remain a vassal state of the EU. After all Corbynomics is quite close to France's statist thinking (may even be a bit to the right of it). I expect Labour to do one of the biggest U-turns on Brexit ever imagined were they to gain power.

One suspects the people that really matter to the UK. Won't even take the chance. As not just what the policies will do. But the servicing costs of that huge pile of debt. Even the US has a problem looming. The Chinese may not bail them out indefinately.
  • Brexit and Corbyn.

It is hard to imagine things going much worse.
