Labour seem completely screwed. They could lose so bad it takes them three terms to recover from it.

The next Labour PM isn't in the House of Commons yet IMHO.

Hopefully he / she hasn't yet been born.

Everyone seems to think labour are in for a trouncing. Anyone care to say what that means in terms of seats?

He's toast I'm sure but, and it wouldn't be hard, his performance so far is head and shoulders above that of his lacklustre support of Brexit.

That will be a treat for those earning in the 100-120k band, 60% marginal tax rates aren't enough apparently ;)

The whole thing is pretty lazy anyway, if Labour were serious about tackling inequality they would no doubt start looking at getting creative with wealth taxes in one form or another, tackling earned salaries through PAYE seems to be tackling a problem that isn't there, there isn't much avoidance and its already pretty progressive anyway. Still it probably plays well with some segments of society.

Was just looking on the spreadbetting site IG Index and that is pretty close to the market midpoint at present.

They don't have to recover. The current government just has to become too toxic to re-elect, Quite fickle, the electorate.;)
