Sure, I know, I do speak to her as I said. I didn't say these programmes had anything to do with Jeremy Corbyn, just that she used to be a supporter of his. I think you got confused and didn't read what I posted correctly?

What she's told me is that some (not all!) manipulate this system, we allow them to do so. Rather than just simply treating everyone equally. So she left the public sector. The "service users" (so I was once told we need to refer to them as) were abusive, rude and manipulative and she just had to tolerate it because of who they were.

Did you enjoy your moan today? Feel any better?

    So it's never bad?

All consequences are beneficial? Nobody loses by it, ever?

What have you lost? Maybe together we can find it.

Sadly not no. I won't be happy until the culture of victimhood, affirmative action/positive discrimination, tolerance of intolerance and political correctness are finished as part of left wing ideology.

It's a blot on the reputation of people on the left who genuinely care about egalitarianism, discrimination and social cohesion instead of claiming to do so whilst doing exactly the opposite.

Do you think the social cohesion in Rotherham and Derby has increased?

What about the social cohesion in Luton ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8WVkbXOHfM )?

    Or London ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ePY25UPJWs )?

    Doesn't look like it does it? ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7q84o1Bp2A / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJaiJ_maUEY / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1tEpjmFH9g )

    Way to go cultural sensitivity!

Do you think pandering to these views instead of challenging them is helping matters?

Do you think calling people who do challenge these views on all sides racist, islamophobic and xenophobic helps matters? Stifling their free speech to combat extremism and oppression, to argue against these people freely without being castigated by a perverse sense of social justice.

If it's not working - which clearly it isn't since the hate appears to be rising, don't you think it's a good idea to reflect on that and perhaps try something different? Like allowing free discourse, no matter the opinion of minorities and majorities? Favouring none above the other, everyone on an equal playing field and using disciplinary procedure and law to police prejudice and not government programmes aimed at positive discrimination and enabling?

Your focusing on what Tony Blair has and not on what he said. His grandfather grew up in an environment of rations, no NHS, where life expectancy was half what it is today.
If you think about it, we have it good. We have a roof over our heads, 3 meals or more a day. Access to medical care, housing, income support and a multitude of other things.
    Yet people still complain.

But will my kids have a roof over their heads?
House price affordability in London reaches a new low

The affordability of homes in London has reached a record low, with house prices in the capital now 14.2 times the average salary.

Does positive discrimination effect you, personally, in any way?
Was there a cleaning job you wanted, but the hiring company chose an immigrant over you?

Free discourse? Isn't that what we're doing here? How much freer do you want it to be?

Not to my knowledge, it hasn't had an impact on me personally. My career choices took me in a direction in which my opportunities are presented to me on merit.

Does that mean I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it?

I'm sure the raped children of Rotherham would find you a real scream.

"Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right and shouldn't be suppressed through fear of offending," he said.

    Absolutely spot on.

Happy to see that the left are being told their brand of political correctness is anything but correct.

The quote is entirely fair, as long as it also, and equally, applies when the second word is changed from "of" to "from".

Absolutely, we should be a secular state that puts no religion above another, regardless of their capacity for taking offence.

So either remove all religious practices and paraphernalia from public spaces or allow all to practice, including those who do not participate in religion such as agnostics and atheists, and those who mock religion, such as Charlie Hebdo.
