Indeed.
PM resigned. No effective government. Opposition in total disarray. Country in turmoil. Beaten 2-1 by Iceland.

All kicking off outside tonight’s PLP meeting, where an emotional John Woodcock has just had a full blown barney with Jeremy Corbyn’s aides. Woodcock shouted at Jezza’s team: “I think it’s extraordinary” that “someone who spreads lies about Labour MPs” could “stand and slag us off to the media”. The message from Corbyn’s spokesman to Labour MPs had been: “If people want to mount a challenge they can do that right now. Jeremy will be a candidate in that election.” In other words, bring it on…
Inside, Corbyn was asked to resign by all wings of the party: lefty Chris Matheson told him he wasn’t a leader, Jess Phillips begged him to quit, Yvette Cooper was the biggest hitter to give a speech, telling Jez he wasn’t good enough. Ex-shadow Scotland secretary Ian Murray revealed to the room that his constituency office had been targeted by Momentum, telling Corbyn “you keep encouraging them”, leaving staff “terrified“. He pleaded with the leadership to “call off the dogs“. Outside in a protest at Parliament Square Momentum representatives chanted “f**k you” to the plotters. A spokesman for Corbyn said: “Demonstrations are part of our democracy.”
After the calls for his resignation Corbyn gave a speech in which he claimed he wanted the support of the PLP and would listen. Those watching report:“It was the worst speech I’ve ever heard in my life. He panicked and started talking about the bedroom tax. It’s just a load of !!!!!!!!. I’ve never seen a meeting like it.”Corbynista sources hit back that the room was scared and look terrified they would lose the leadership election and lose control to the left forever. The permanent reshuffle will apparently be concluded tomorrow…If I don't reply to your post,

They only support Labour because they want them to be in power, not for ideological reasons. If a new Labour party is formed who look competent that's who they'll give their money to.
Labour also have private backers. Surprisingly, some very rich people are happy to donate to Labour. But again, they want to see something for their money other than mobs of 17 year olds chanting 'jez we can'

Still to read anything that makes me think he's isn't honest and sincere. Corbyn has spent his entire political career opposing the European Union so why are people complaining about his European skepticism now?0

so why didn't he openly oppose the EU and openly support brexit?
answer : because he is a dishonest, unprincipled, IRA and terrorist supporting schoolboy who doesn't understand the hate and harm he has caused0 -

Yes thats right, the Tory Party called a referendum and managed to lose to itself. But this is somehow the fault of Jeremy Corbyn, because the Blairites and Murdoch press that doesn't want the UK electorate to have a left wing party to vote for, says so.
He is going to be on the ballot paper again and he is going to get voted in again. Hopefully the Blairites will finally get the message and either defect to the Tories, a party it appears they would be much happier representing, or swallow it and stop undermining the membership.
If he delivers 68% of the 2015 labour votes Labour will have 155 MPs at the next election. That is the point. Don't you get it?Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
I have no time for Corbyn's politics but he was the only politician who went up in my estimation during the Brexit campaign.
He did not lie that within the EU it is possible to control migration
He admitted that there were minuses as well as pluses to EU membership
I am saddened but not surprised that the PLP think they are above the democratic will of the party members who put them into a job. I hope the membership get to make their feelings clear again.
There is much too much of 'Brexit voters were too stupid to deserve the franchise' and 'Labour party members should not choose their leader' comments around at the moment.
Sure we may all think we are smarter and can take better decisions than other people but that is the path to dictatorship.
You voted Leave. Of course you thought he did a good job. That is the point.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -

Yesterday McDonnell called the MPs calling for Corbyns resignation 'vermin'. He is the shadow chancellor. Surely he cannot work with people he calls vermin.0 -

I think you can probably assume that 100% of Labour voters voted Labour, but statistics are difficult and you aren't the first person not to understand them on the internet.
You also really are reaching if you think that you can blame a Leave vote on Jeremy Corbyn. The SNP only returned a 62% vote for Remain among Scottish voters.
Lets not let facts get in the way of polemic however.0
