Just watching Momentum on TV outside HofC - what a bunch. There like a bunch of privare school kids who did politics at A Level or PPE at Uni. They don't even feel like real people - they are just toffs playing at politics.

I have voted Labour in past- but wouldn't again until things change. In fact I was a member for 30 years and I left when Corbyn got in. I haven't regreted it.

I voted Green at last election- it felt great!

The Labour Party need to boot Momentum out - like they booted out Militant. It's the only way you'll get rid of Corbyn.

    What a mess.

The resigners will rue today's treachery. As will the Blairite turncoat Watson.

Corbyn will be re-elected with a large mandate then there will be no hiding places.

....and the vast majority of the PLP will simply form a new party.

SDP 2 just a couple of months away.

Moby whilst this is the sort of person who supports Labour you're doomed.

Why is Jeremy Corbyn like Joe Hart?

They both could have done more to keep us in Europe.

You need money to form a new party.
    Where will it come from?

They could try Diane Abbott next - she'd make Miliband and Corbyn look like inspired choices.

Money won't be a problem. Labour's current backers won't continue to fund the party with Corbyn as leader. Many traditional Labour supporters would rather give their subscriptions to a new Labour party that had a chance of winning a general election.

Labour's current backers are the unions.
    All of whom support Corbyn.

They only support Labour because they want them to be in power, not for ideological reasons. If a new Labour party is formed who look competent that's who they'll give their money to.

Labour also have private backers. Surprisingly, some very rich people are happy to donate to Labour. But again, they want to see something for their money other than mobs of 17 year olds chanting 'jez we can'
