The resigners will rue today's treachery. As will the Blairite turncoat Watson.

Corbyn will be re-elected with a large mandate then there will be no hiding places.

I think you are wrong tbh - I seen young Labour people being interviewed on the BBC they said they wanted him to go and they voted for him.

One made a really good point - how could a guy who has shared a platform with people from Hamas and from the IRA refuse to share a platform with David Cameron?

There should be another leadership election. Corbyn must stand. But I don't think he'll win.

I really don't know what you see in him.

The man's a useless leader. As I said, no idea what people see in him. It's a complete mystery.

I have no time for Corbyn's politics but he was the only politician who went up in my estimation during the Brexit campaign.

He did not lie that within the EU it is possible to control migration
He admitted that there were minuses as well as pluses to EU membership

I am saddened but not surprised that the PLP think they are above the democratic will of the party members who put them into a job. I hope the membership get to make their feelings clear again.

There is much too much of 'Brexit voters were too stupid to deserve the franchise' and 'Labour party members should not choose their leader' comments around at the moment.

Sure we may all think we are smarter and can take better decisions than other people but that is the path to dictatorship.
    I think....

Sorry. I really don't get it.

But there you go it's up to Labour members.

You know what though? you can have the Labour leader you love - or you can keep losing - you can't have both.

I don't think he cares about the Labour Party. Did you see poor Angela Eagle - crying on mainstream TV. What sort of evil person does that to others? He's not a nice man.

The hard left have never cared about the Labour party have they? Think of all the strife in the 80s.

Don't know where this ends tbh. Momentum/ the left have you gripped in a nightmare. Maybe there should be a split? I know it didnt work out well last time but it could this time?

I would have said that Labour needed to be patient and let this play out but I think it's possible now that Labour will be wiped of the electoral map in England too if they are not careful.

Things came to a head because of his attitude during the EU ref. The fact that there could be an earlier election concentrated minds as well. This country needs an effective opposition to scrutinise the terms on which we leave the EU. He is incapable of providing it. That must be clear to everyone who is reasonable.
