The resigners will rue today's treachery. As will the Blairite turncoat Watson.

Corbyn will be re-elected with a large mandate then there will be no hiding places.

And sadly that will be the end of the Labour Party.

Watson realised that Blair had to go and now he knows Corbyn must.

You win elections by appealing to those like me who usually vote against the Conservative candidate. But I cannot vote for a party led by Corbyn.

We are back to the days of Militant Tendency where fringe parties on the extreme left tried to destroy the Party. I do not care that he is a nice bloke, he seems to want to lead a small party that has no chance of ever being in power. That helps nobody that they seek to represent.

I think the unions are not the issue. The unions are just their members.

Unions internally hold very strong left wing views. No a place for those with a more moderate outlook. Blair knew that the Labour party would to reform to attract the new middle classes. He lost and the Labour party has since returned to it's 70's roots.

Internally? I think that is a wild generalisation. I think many activists in most unions are left of centre, but I know many True Blue Tories who are union members. Also not all unions are affiliated with the Labour Party.

We will not waiver to the Blairite's rebellion.

We will stand firm and vote again. We will face down an army of Jess Phillipses.

    Corbyn is not going anywhere.

As far as I know the Tories don't get to decide when Labour leaders step down.

I think it is funny that DC who has resigned and therefore has zero political capital is trying to tell the leader of the opposition to do 'for the good of the Labour party'. Has to be said DC has lost it big time.
    I think....
