Whoop whoop - one of the local estate agents has emailed to say they would like to be one of the main sponsors for our Christmas fair :j :j I'm soooo chuffed, I have no idea what it involves, what we should suggest £££ wise, but I'm just dead chuffed I delivered those letters earlier this week

Morning all, thanks Beanie, we have a couple of options and aren't sure which way to go with the sponsorship;
(a) ask for a cash amount for the main prize for the raffle
(b) ask for a cash amount to cover the advertising
(c) ask for a cash amount (£25)per estate agent board advertising the event - ie. we get 40 people to agree to have a board in their garden which advertises the event (and the estate agent obviously)
We can probably combine the options, but we have no idea how much we should be asking for as the cash amount having never done this before we have no idea of the number of people likely to attend etc
Last night my bestie and I went and letter dropped in another local town and we collected a £10 voucher for a pub and a cinema voucher while we were out too :T :T
She is coming round today and we are going to work on the money side of the fair, the costs involved with each stall so far etc.Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

So another couple of days have gone by, we've secured a few more prizes for the raffle (£10 voucher from the butchers, paddle-boarding voucher for a family of 4 and a few others in the pipeline).
Back to other stuff - ds comes home today :j :j Their plane landed at 7.45 this morning, he should be back here between 1-2. I can't wait, I've missed him loads
I collected the dog from Mums this morning so he's here too, I filled up with petrol and finally did the air in the tyres (it really wasn't that difficult after all
)
This afternoon Bournemouth are playing, so it will be an afternoon on the sofa watching Sky
Before that I need to do the ironing, general housework and the Tesco online order is coming between 2-3pm. Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Housework all done, ds safely home, Bournemouth clinging on for a point with ten minutes to go and all is right with the world

Bournemouth didn't cling on long enough yesterday

This morning I've walked the dog, paid the water bills (£20 less than this time last year :T ), pottered a bit and put bits away, and I'm off to meet my friend in a bit to do more stuff for the Christmas fair. Ds is having a chilling day, playing on his new computer

A few more prizes collected in, we're now trying to fill the external stallholders spaces for the fair. Popped into work this morning and measured the spaces etc.
We've done the school shoes shopping (£35 in M&S), got a pencil case, I'll get the pens etc in Tesco as Whsmith prices were mad. We still need to get trainers and a backpack and then we're done
Other spends while we were out = £11 pencil case, bits and pieces in whsmith, £8 in M&S on food bits, £3.50 in clintons on 2 boxes of xmas cards
and a card for my nephew.
Time for a cool bath as its too hot for me today, then some more planning and organising fair stuff tonight.
I did make £10 on a slots game this morning and £9.60 from the cash 4 clothes place.Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000
