Yesterday was lovely with my year group getting their results, lots of hugs

I won £60 on a cheeky slots game I probably shouldn't have played, but that's most of the Bose speaker I bought on Wednesday paid for - it was £170, I used £85 vouchers from surveys, so after this win it has only really cost me £25
and I got a £10 voucher back from Argos too :money:
Super proud of my nephew yesterday, he got 10 A*'s and 2 A's :T :TMortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

So the estate agent phoned yesterday and I have a viewing today, I'm not getting too excited about it, there's still very little on the market I would be interested in buying, but at least it's a start

I was wondering what was happening with regards to you selling your flat. Good news on a viewing. Has the house you were going to buy been sold?0
-
Yep, it sold last week

Shame about the house. :-(0

That's annoying about the house. How did the viewing go?0

I spoke to the estate agent yesterday and he said the viewing went well, they loved the size of the rooms and how light the flat is. He said as they were leaving they asked to see the garage / parking etc and he said that's a positive as they obviously hadn't ruled it out ... they were seeing 5 others though but mine is the only one on a high street and they liked that as they are currently renting above a shop in another town and like being central - we'll see. I checked out rightmove last night and there is not one house within my price range that I'd be interested in viewing, not one. I've tried looking again and again but I know I wouldn't want to live in the locations the available ones are in, or they are massively overpriced etc - none at all that have even a glimmer of hope, and they have all been on the market for yonks - no-one else wants to buy them either

Banking all updated for the end of the month, currently I've got £266 left for the next 4 days, I've also got some money pending to come in on Tuesday which I've added to the signature as that's already allocated to savings. I need to knuckle down now we're going back to school and get on with the savings lark again. Any of the £266 that's left by Wednesday (payday) will go into a Christmas savings pot as I don't currently have anything put away for that and I also haven't started shopping for that yet which is quite unusual for me.
Today we're going for a bbq at my friends so I need to nip to Sainsburys and get some bits to take and tomorrow ds and I are going to see Me Before You at the local cinema (already paid for tickets) as I read the book on our train trip and loved it
Tuesday and Wednesday will mainly be spent doing workstuff /getting ready to get back to school.Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

£19 spent at Sainsburys, that included a hair dye - I decided £100 at the hairdressers is madness when I'm saving, so it's time to diy

One of my DS's and his GF are looking to buy a house but there's nothing on the market at the moment. They did see one that they loved but it was vastly overpriced and needed lot of work, sadly the seller is holding out for the full price with even the estate agent saying the house is overpriced. I have warned DS and GF that buying a house is one of the most stressful things they can do. Fingers crossed it will all work out.
Good luck on your hunt BenBn.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000
