That's about all for now, it will be a fairly chilled day, I can't yet face unpacking boxes

Sorry for you. Has eveything stopped now because they pulled out? Hadnt
They signed contract already? What about the one you wanted to buy - will they wait till you get another purchaser onboard? Dont be too despondent as things always work out for the best in the end and you still have your home.0 -
They had signed their contract but we hadn't exchanged yet, we were hoping to do it this week
So, as I now don't have a buyer I can't buy the one I wanted - they are deciding over the weekend whether to put theirs back on the market or stay put (this is the second time theirs has fallen through).
I am fairly resigned to not selling now, I think the market will stall for months again, I just can't see some ftb's coming along now wanting my flat
I will need to re-evaluate my plans, I guess I carry on as before, trying to save as much as possible so that when I am in a position to move I will have more money to do so. Gutting but can't do much about it

Tesco food order is done (forgot to add that to the list), dog has been around the block, flat is tidy but needs a good clean later. Second load of washing is in the machine.
I think I am going to have a look at my finances - possibly not going to be great as I splurged on besties birthday present and my S&S isa's have probably plunged over the last few days, but may as well see where we are at right now.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hmm, well if I ignore besties present I am overspent by £50 for the month and I also have a tesco order coming tomorrow which is another £40. I thought I'd done well this month foodwise etc, but I have bought stuff for ds birthday next month as well as otheer unexpected bits and pieces. Hmm. Anyway, its not such an urgent issue right now as it would have been last week.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

So we took the dog out and went to the farm shop and got some chipolatas, potatoes and onions for sausage and mash for tea. Also got some cooked beetroot, lettuce, cucumber, spring onions, a punnet of strawberries and a pot of cream. Came to £7 altogether which seemed pretty good to me.
I need to jiggle some accounts around and get my money head back on. It is ds birthday next month and we also need to book accommodation for our train trip in the summer.
The washing pile has gone, it is now all drying nicely in the sun. A lazy afternoon of pottering and doing jobs from the list ahead for me
