try to take it as easy as you can.
Your plans for your London trip sound fab! You're really organised too with getting your bookings sorted
Sounds like you're on a real roll with your budgetit's kind of addictive, isn't it?

You're not kidding with it being addictive. I'm forever on by spreadsheet if I make a payment or pay a bit of my debts. Wish it was the same with YNAB but I just don't update it enough.
Kirsty - It must be something going round, it seems a lot of people have it. At least I'm off for the rest of the week.

I'm much better now, thank you. It was payday on Friday and I've paid some off my debts and booked the train tickets for London. DD is made up, she said she knows its real now we have the tickets booked lol.
Had quite a chilled weekend. Bought Mr T a 25 metre lead so that he can run without running away lol. It is amazing and it was under £10. Best money I have spent on him. Yesterday was cleaning and washing day which resulted in us doing a bit of decluttering of shoes and some clothes that can't go on e-bay and I have finally took the pictures for the items we want to sell. I'll be putting these on e-bay over the next couple of days. All spending money towards London.
I'm a bit cross with PC W0rld though. I bought my laptop from them last year and got a good deal for Office with it. I thought this was a one off payment but no, they took £59.99 out of my bank over the weekend. I will be looking into this and taking my card details off my account. Although then what will I do with my spreadsheet if I can't use Excel next year grrr.
Not got any plans for this weekend so I will be working on some ideas for my Etsy shop. I don't think I'm going to rush and try and get it up for Christmas like I intended, hopefully in the new year. There are a couple of items that are Christmas specific though, so maybe just a trial run with those.
Still not sorted college out yet. I have looked at the distance learning and there are so many companies out there. I just want to make sure I pick the right one.
Better get back to work. Will update totals tonight. Hope everyone is well.
Take care.

Glad you are feeling better Tink, and that you have got the ebay bug
I love it sometimes, then I go through a phase of hating it :rotfl:
Rubbish about PC World though - how naughty! Can you complain to customer services? Surely they should have made it clear of there is an ongoing subscription payment - hope you get it sortedxx

Hi Tink
Sounds like you got Office365 which is now a subscription service. They should have told you that though.
If you decide against keeping it, you can probably use your spreadsheet with one of the open source software options eg GoogleDocs. They take a little getting used to but will do most of what Office does.

Thank you all, I think I will have to look into that Rosa.
So debts that got paid on pay day are Debt 2 - £41.00, Debt 3 - £50.00 and Debt 6 £80.00 and there will also be a couple more payments before the end of the month. Total now is £13747.27.
I love seeing how others can put away a huge chunk of savings and pay their debts too. I guess that comes of living down south where pay must be higher. I've actually noticed some diaries where they put away nearly half my wages before paying debts and having money to live on. Never mind, one foot in front of the other and at least the figure is going down now.
Have been a little bit naughty though and ordered a new winter coat from my friends catalogue. I'm going to pay it off in a couple of months, not drag the weekly payments on. It is a need though because I don't have one now DD has claimed it for school and I think I will need a good one for London. Not going to buy anything else until we are there though lol.

Thanks DIA, I'm saving it for then but it is hard lol.
I'm shattered today and I don't know why. Getting better sleep now the cough is easing off and I've had the all clear from my x-rays so that's a weight off my mind. I'm even getting to bed earlier every night so I have time to read.
Got to call my car insurance today as they have taken more out than it was set up for. They are telling me this is because I haven't sent proof of my ncb but I have, so will hopefully get the difference refunded. It's messed my spreadsheet up lol.
I'm finding it a bit of a struggle this week moneywise. The old me would just go and spend and deal with the consequences later. I know I can't do that now as I would ruin all my plans and our trip, but I do feel a bit down. Maybe something to do with being tired.
Also, I've noticed that a few of my clothes are getting tighter. I know I have put a bit of weight on but I didn't think it was so much that some of my work clothes don't fit comfortably anymore. Will have to take Mr D for longer walks for my benefit as much as his lol.
Hope everyone is having a good week.

Sorry you are feeling down Tink. It’s hard to keep going but you are doing so well. :T
I didn’t mean to sound as if getting a new winter coat is easy. It is an expensive purchase. I get round this by going to outlet shops or buying in the spring sales for the following year, but I appreciate it is hard to get the lump sum all at once to even do that sometimes
It is only very recently I have been able to buy a new coat. My previous ones for years were from charity shops. One of my best buys was an ankle length Acquascutum 100% cashmere. Yes, that’s right a 100% cashmere coat that I paid £30 for. It was in brilliant condition. I still wear it and nearly every time I do I get a compliment. So do keep an eye out for future winters.
I hope you will be warm and happy in your new coat
