Well done, I am just a bit more than you, only trouble is, its supposed to take me 3 years to clear, rather than your 6 months :j

3 years is my personal target/goal, and play with the o/p calculator monthly, but my salary doesn't stretch no matter how hard I try
I can only dream, don't make solid plans, as according to my past, that's when things go **** up. I took out a mortgage when most would have thought, what the *!*! are you doing :rotfl: I'll take it when it comes

What's your plans?
Well short term, MissW has suggested that we both splash out to celebrate and have a pot of £500 each to do with what we like guilt free. I have some thinking to do on that front! :A
Past that, we hope to start a family soon so hopefully the lower outgoings will really help down the line.Mortgage Free 22/03/17

Babies are way cheaper than everyone makes out, especially companies making products and services for babies! I think everything you've done over the last few years will stand you in pretty good stead for whatever the future holds!
Ive heard a few people say that. I guess past the bare essentials, you can spend as much or as little as you want. Anyway, we will cross that bridge when we come to it!
MissW is back from her America work trip tonight so its action stations to clean the house and tidy up from my 2 weeks of bachelor living tonight!Mortgage Free 22/03/17

Last months bumper over payment was reduced a little as a regular savers account we had been paying into had not matured in time. This month it has which means we were able to do a £8.7k over payment.
This takes our outstanding mortgage down to around 13k. :j
That's the last of the really big payments we will be able to do and now its month to month whatever we have left over until hopefully finishing on or before our target of April next year.
On another note, Christmas shopping is almost done. Just 1 family member left to buy for! PHEW!Mortgage Free 22/03/17

You are so nearly MF. Awesome!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Its December! May I be the first to say Merry Christmas you filthy animals!
Airbnb: £405 – Really good for this time of year when the tourism dies down in the area. Our regulars seem to have stopped now too which is a shame. I hope they have just stopped working in the area and they haven’t gone to a competitor!!
Adsense from Youtube: £52 – Another increase on last month. Black Friday seemed to ramp up the adverts a little bit which was very handy. Let the Christmas advertising begin!
Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £29.05 – 639 clicks and 24 items ordered. Lots of purchases on black Friday! Highlights include Tennis balls, a lock picking training set and a pocket herb grinder (I’m not sure this has any legal uses!)
Solar Panels: £27.82 – Winter is here, and with it shorter days and more clouds.
Thats a grand total of £513.87 earned outside of work in November. Not bad for this time of year. Hoping for a bumper month of adverts and affiliate sales next month!
Merry December everyone!Mortgage Free 22/03/17
