    Hi Guys!

This is probably our last update of 2016. Its been a fantastic year for us overpayment wise and I hope everyone else has had an equally fruitful year?

Both our pay days have passed and that means its time for the December overpayment. This month we are doing £3000 which takes our outstanding amount down to £9111

Look out for a bumper side hussle update on the 1st where im going to total up 2016

From MissWillow and myself, we hope everyone has a fantastic christmas and new year!

Its January, a belated Happy new year to my fellow side hustlers. Sorry it’s a delayed update, it’s been a pretty busy few weeks.

Airbnb: £87 – Wow what a comedown. Winter is always rubbish but that was simply awful! January not looking much better either!

Adsense from Youtube: £53.77 – Maintaining Novembers fairly good level. Christmas and sale adverts always make for higher earnings around this time of year. Just uploaded a video of me playing on a HTC Vive VR system which was really fun to make. Hope that can gain a few views but I think the market is limited for a £800 gaming accessory!

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £23.06 –
656 clicks and 27 items ordered. Highlights include Calvin Klein aftershave, toothpicks and a swiss army knife!

Solar Panels: £21.33 – Hopefully that will be the lowest earning month for the solar panels although January might give it a run for its money.

Thats a grand total of £185.16 earned outside of work in December. Airbnb was the let down with my youtube channel actually doing a bit better than normal.

    I hope everyone has a fantastic 2017

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

This month we couldn’t make as much of an overpayment as we usually do due to car insurance for both cars and a service and new tyres for one of them. Ouch!

But with Airbnb picking up this month compared to December, we were still able to do £1900 leaving our mortgage at £6467.

Without any more overpayments we would be finished in October, but of course we want to get it gone asap and we are still on track for April.

Side hustle update incoming in the next few days!

Hope everyone is having a good year so far and keeping their new years resolutions? Only 11 months till Christmas!

Airbnb: £319 – Back in business after a shabby January. Plenty of repeat business customers this month to bump is back up. Plus we have got a 4 night booking for the Cheltenham festival in march where we double our prices! Woop!

Adsense from Youtube: £42.51 – Always drops in January when the advertisers have blown their budgets in December. Also, google have changed the way they report earnings from youtube so im not entirely sure how accurate this now. Time will tell when we get the official payout.

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £15.07 – 625 clicks and 15 items ordered. Highlights include Moth killer, a goat hair Radiator cleaning brush and a 15 pack of microfiber cloths!

    Solar Panels: £22.29
    – A £1 increase on December! Hopefully its only upwards from here!

Thats a grand total of £398.87 earned outside of work in January!

On a side note, my Dad has decided to Start doing Airbnb and is now renting out 2 rooms in his house. We refered him so should be getting a nice £70 voucher to go and stay somewhere!

    Until next time!

    Hi Guys!

Just made our February overpayment. This month we managed £2000 between us which takes our mortgage down to £3759.40. Edging ever closer to our goal and we have a slim possibility of creeping in 1 month early.

Hope everyone is doing well? Look out for the February side hustle coming to a thread near you in the next few days!
