Busy weekend so I forgot our side hustle update! Better late than never I guess…

Airbnb: £349 – On a par with last month. Again we were away for a week which meant reduced earnings potential. The good news is we already have way over 400 quids worth of bookings in July! No wacky guests this month to report unfortunately!

Adsense from Youtube: £38.70 – Almost exactly the same as last month! Struggling at the moment to find that killer video that bumps the views massively. Currently my new videos are just replacing the views on older ones that don’t get so much traffic anymore.

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £17.39 – 527 clicks and a total of 14 items ordered. Highlights this month include a self inflating camping bed, a chrome 2 slice toaster and a tripod floor lamp!

Solar Panels: £65.36 – Down on last month due to the lowsy weather. Forecast is looking better for July though so hoping we can get back on it next month!

Matched Betting: £98 – Although the Euro’s have got terribly for England, on the matched betting front its been a gold mine. Hopefully there will be a couple more on the Semis and the final.

Thats a grand total of £568.45 earned outside of work in June. A little bit up on last month and Airbnb is looking like its going to boost us even higher in July.

We are still here:) I've been away with work for the last month and I think Jimlad has been preoccupied with gaming! Good news though, I'm back so things will get back to normal soon. We will do our side hustle later today:)

With being away for work for 3 full work weeks, I've saved about £220 for not travelling to work, about £30 on not paying for coffee and lunches and the food bill has also been less saving circa £30. That's a saving of £280 this month..... Woohoo...

I'm so excited about our overpayment in November.... Just two full months to go and our mortgage will be significantly reduced and we can overpay as much as possible each month after that!!!!

Thinking about what we might do when we are mortgage free; go out to dinner to celebrate, build up savings pot, get a speaker for the living room, get each of us a treat.........I'm sure the list will grow

So sorry for the late update! As my wife says, she was away on a 3 week business trip and I have been in full bachelor mode. Probably wasting any of the savings she mentioned on takeaways and beer! Heres the totals for July.

Airbnb: £586 – Really good month on this front. Nobody wacky to tell you about, but Airbnb are sending out a professional photographer free of charge to us next week to take some (hopefully) epic photos of our room and house. Hopefully that might result in a few more bookings going forward.

Adsense from Youtube: £37 – Slow and steady here. Still searching for that killer viral video to make me a millionaire! A few items being sent to me for review, although none of it really brings in the views from search so not much gained.

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £13.68 – 495 clicks and a total of 145items ordered. Highlights this month include Rosemary Essential Oil, Organic Water Kefir Culture (what the heck is that?) and coconut curling cream! Im not sure what this says about my average viewer!

Solar Panels: £79.06 – Another solid month after some lovely weather. I would haard a guess that its downhill from here for the winter though. Nights are gonna start drawing in and christmas looms! Haha.

Matched Betting: £0 – Football off season so nothing on this front. But i know of one coming up for the premierleague opening fixtures so should have something in this column for next month

Thats a grand total of £715.74 earned outside of work in July. A lovely boost mostly coming from the Airbnb summer rush. Already half way though august so not long till the next update!

I hope i might have inspired anyone reading to give some of these side hustles a go? Especially airbnb, its easy money!

We had one guest stay for 2 months, from France.. Australia, Singapore, China!!!! Slovakia, Germany, Norway, We had a couple stay for 12 days... he was from middle america....she was from India I guess.... they stayed in the room pretty much for 12 days 23hrs a day..... We are £30 a night and pretty much have received £480 pcm since March and £200 since we started in October. We've even had a few Brits

Next week we have our 1st travelling salesman 4 nights, then BH weekend 3 nights for a couple of active retirees The winter time was pretty much one night stays but most weekends.

That said got another guest arriving this afternoon... I better go and make the bed
