Its my favourite time of the month again! Totting up all our additional incomes for the month.

Airbnb: £377 – A £100 increase on January so really pleased with this. We had some students stay for a week whilst they studied a course at the local collage which was really good. Of course we also had our disappearing couple I mentioned before!

Adsense from Youtube: £32.20. Down again on last month. Not really a downturn in views though, just advert revenue. Maybe advertisers have realized they have nothing to gain from marketing PPI to technology nerds?

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £11.73 – Also down on last month. Highlightsof purchases this month include 4 blenders, 3 steam mops and 2 external usb dvd drives.

Solar Panels: £39.91 – Almost double January! Sunny but cold is optimum for solar panels as they lose efficiency when they get hot. Roll on spring time!

Matched Betting: £42 - Good, but missed out on £30 as I was in the cinema when a match was on and the matching involved in play bets. The 42 was from arsenal Barcelona. Hopefully we will have some more for the second legs of the champions league matches.

Thats a grand total of £462.84 earned outside of work in February. A good 30% increase on last month. Hopefully we can continue this trend with sunnier days, more tourists and more football!

Love reading your side hustle updates. It shows what can be done with a bit of effort. Really inspiring. When my main pushes are settled I'll be back for inspiration and guidance :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

We haven't updated the spreadsheet in a while so I thought I would also make a post here to go along with it.

In total across our savings accounts we now have £31,200. :T

If we add average monthly savings of 2750 to this (sometimes higher or lower but thats been our average over the last 10 months), we will be at £53,200 when it comes to overpay our mortgage in November.

Overpaying monthly from there we are still on track for April 2017 mortgage freedom!

    Interesting Airbnb cancellation yesterday!

A fella that had booked to arrive on friday for 9 nights to "visit his girlfriend at uni" had to cancel because customs sent him back to budapest! No idea why...perhaps we dodged a bullet there.

Because it was within 5 days, he only gets a 50% refund so we are effectively getting 180 quid for nothing! Heres hoping someone else books so we can get double bubble!

Hello everyone, well it is almost time for our side hussle, almost. We have had a good March with extra income and an unexpected bonus for hubby that will be in April's pay. I'm very excited with 1 year to go to mortgage freedom and would love to try and shave a few months to get it to Christmas. I can be overly optimistic about these things but it helps to keep me motivated.
