We are back from our trip to America! San Francisco and New York! Wow, what amazing places, especially San fran. Spent a fortune though. Myself and MissW bought 3 pairs of shoeseach. In fairness though, I struggle to get size 13 in the UK so I was stocking up….Im not sure what her excuse was!

Stayed in Airbnb places in both cities, both really nice and a massive saving over a hotel.

Used Uber for the first time in San Fran. They even have a feature called Uber Pool where you can share a car with other users. Amazingly quick to use and was so cheap it was unreal $5-10 per ride! Even managed to get 2 free trips by MissW recommending me so we got a free ride each!

Airbnb: £377 – 100 down on April, but we were away or unable to host for about 10 days. We have had a spate of aussies this month. One of them even left us a mini koala bear! The annual cheese rolling where people hurl themselves downhill after a cheese was this weekend and handily its on the hill we can see from our house! We had a lovely French couple stay for that at a slightly increased rate. Boom!

    Adsense from Youtube: £38.80
    – About the same as last month. New videos coming this month include me testing out an electric garden rake/ scaffifier. Not seen any videos for this specific model so hopefully we can capture some google search hits.

Amazon Affiliates from Youtube: £12.98 – 584 clicks and a total of 15 items ordered. Highlights this month include “Do The Right Thing” on DVD, Gernier Spot Fighting Moisturiser and a mini water filter “life straw”.

    Solar Panels: £81.34 –
Lots of £4 plus days this month with the sun shining more and more. Its so awesome being able to turn the washing machine or dishwasher on knowning the sun will keep them powered for the duration of their cycles.

    Matched Betting: £34 –
Just one bet on the champions league final this month. Im hoping they do more offers like this for the Euros this summer or its going to be a long wait until the champions league starts up again!

    Ebay: £10 –
Sold my walking shoes that were a little bit too big for me. Im size 13 so very sought after

Thats a grand total of £554.12 earned outside of work in May. As predicted last month we are 100 quid down due to the lack of available nights on airbnb. Hopefully we can build this up again for June. Come on tourists, where are you this year!!

    Merry June Everyone!

Hope you both had a lovely time on holiday.

And love reading your monthly post updates, keep thinking, once I've MK'd, I'll maybe try it, in fact if I get this huge bill I'm thinking I might, I'll have no option, but to move my backxxxx

Still going to read up on matched betting as I'm sure this will be right up my street.
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's

There are loads of little ones you can do that I dont bother with. There is a blog i follow where the guy makes 300-500 a month doing loads of little matched bets. Your only risk is the betting websites shutting your account down if you are not careful as technically its not allowed.

We had a great holiday thanks! It was so much fun.

    I think im being dumb here...MK'd?? :o

With all the political turmoil, a few of the people around me at work are worried about what will happen to mortgages and interest rates...

Me...I couldnt care less past April 2017

I imagine everyone that has snubbed us on here for overpaying our mortgages and not taken the time to understand why we do it may start to ask questions!

We remortgage in August and it still looks like we are going to get a great rate which should bring our mortgage free date a lot closer. I am hoping to make it a team effort for the 2 years of the initial product :D
