    At the risk of outing myself, I'd go one step further. A little subsequent rummaging around after reading the thread and some very intensive Twitter networking from my mates reveals that although not the .com domain (as used above), the co.uk domain for Ledger and Simmons was established and registered by Michael Pold. See here;

    https://www.123-reg.co.uk/order/domain?domain=ledgerandsimmons&is=1

    Pold's name also crops up here;

    The FCA warning may be found here;

    http://www.fca.org.uk/news/warnings/red-level-enterprises-limited-clone

    If anyone knows anyone thinking of engaging with this company, I'd strongly advise you to contact the regulator, the FCA, first. The media is, thankfully, now onto it and the FCA is also investigating. Well done OP and Money Saving Expert, for bringing a (allegedly!) scam to attention.

    The two company directors don't exist, one has cloned the identity of a genuine Canadian financial planner. It could be a question of fraud to Companies House.

    The qualifications purported to belong to the guy running 'Asia Pacific' pensions (John Howarth), to which pension transfer enquiries are being fed, don't exist - they have just been checked.

    All in all, not good.

    PS: If anyone wants to see how it unfolded on Twitter two days ago, message me an ID.

    Some of those fees were obscene. 10% upfront, 2.5% pa and 25% of the profit. You have to dig deep to find them. Another one had a redemption penalty of c20%.

    I had a quick look at the LinkedIn page for Toby Ledger that Dunstonh posted.
    https://www.linkedin.com/pub/toby-ledger/ba/98b/7a1

    The image of him looks remarkably similar to people on loads of other web sites. e.g.

    http://www.thinksys.com/career.php

    And a whole lot more. So I take it that is a stock photo.

    I'd still like to know what led the OP to believe the company had some sort of Martin Lewis recommendation.

    Ledger is a fabrication, as is the other director.

    The issue is serious; as I tweeted - why can Companies House lend someone the patina of respectability so readily, and why, if I and a few others can out them and take down so quickly, can't the regulator?

    Interesting if Toby Ledger is a fabrication, who was giving the quotes to Pro adviser?

    Totally agree about why the regulators are so slow to deal with scam companies when it's obvious to anyone looking at them that there is very high chance of customers losing significant amounts.

    I feel sorry for the girl tasked to provide them with social media services. I think she thought I was a client enquiring about transferring my pension to 'Asia Pacific Pensions'. That's me in the pro adviser link of course. Busted! :)

    Well done and thanks.
    Sounds like they need to be taken down if your facts are correct.
