Grab yourself a toothbrush and scrub the manky bits between the tiles

PS FFP - it's twins so she's sticking to odd numbers lol!

    Love it!

I'm reading as and when I can but mainly being lofty again this week I think, although I may have done all of the 'easier' stuff. It might be time to bring all of the boxes of sewing gibble down and get them in one place with a view to seeing if I really will ever get round to patchworking or whether the scrap store will acquire another bulk delivery. Hmm.
    Better is good enough.

Thanks for the list Natty :D

Didn't catch up on last weeks thread, nor did I do last weeks list like I planned :o But its a new week so a fresh start.

Today I'm running errands, and I'm going to shops near DD's school so she wants to stay home :rotfl: No problem as she can do the ironing and tackle some other chores instead, think I might swipe last weeks livingroom list for her ;) I just need to make sure her mobile is charged, turned on to a volume she'll hear & downstairs near her! Last time I went out she'd left it on silent in her bedroom so my 3 phonecalls to her asking her to come and help me as I'd hurt my back went unanswered. This time I plan on popping into some charity shops so I need her to answer whether certain books are on the shelf before I duplicate them again :o

Monday Minging & Flinging- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    15 minutes...
Clear floors of guff and stuff
    Got 30 minutes to spare...
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks. Make them sparkle, sparkle!!!!
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Have an hour...
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains, shower curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Hoover/Sweep and mop and deslop the floors in these rooms.
    Collect all the dirty laundry
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Fling all those empty bottles and tubes, do you really need that empty shower gel bottle?
    • If you have a shelf.. empty and clean it
    • Grab yourself a toothbrush and scrub the manky bits between the tiles
Off to kick DD out of bed, get my stuff together to go out, pay bills, update accounts, then hopefully I can be out of here before midday in theory.

  • Good morning all from sunny York. I am reclining on the sofa as per usual instructions.

DD2 and her OH made it back in one piece yesterday. She looked fraught and wrung out, but they both look a lot better for a decent nights sleep. Thankfully he has today off and has managed to obtain a doctor's appointment. The washing machine is working hard at their washing - I refused to let him take his away. I am sorting it and loading the machine and DH is hanging it out. That's team work for you.

DD1 is settling well into her flat, although much of her stuff is still here.... as of today they have internet and they are awaiting delivery of a washing machine. I look forward to getting over to see it in person.

Hope everyone is having a good day.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

I am having a really rubbish day. Diet gone to pot - just stuffed a cream-filled muffin down my neck, followed by a chocolate mousse. Am hanging, despite trying desperately to cut down drinking and my debt-busting this month has been ruined by DH's irresponsibility with money and me getting a speeding fine of £100. Yes, my fault I know, but feel like everything's going wrong. Doctor increased medication but not sure if that's helping anyway. Sorry, just ignore me.

Need to go to the shops but have been avoiding going out anywhere, so DH's going to have the hump later as I haven't got any eggs in for his tea. I just want to sleep. For a hundred years....zzzzzzz.....

On the plus side, I've sorted my desk and changed Small's bed, emptied DW and done two lots of washing and drying.

I have been summoned to my parents. Their bank no longer does probate so I think I may be requested to be an executer to the will. Does anyone have experience of this?

off to A-gos soon to swop DS2's birthday present and then to see what parents want.

I'm Flying off-piste again, just doing what I feel well enough to manage.

Dogless for a few days; Millie was only here for the weekend, and Lizzie (aka Little Miss Naughty) will be here at 10:30 on Saturday.

I shall be concentrating on shifting the last lingering Cassie-hairs, particularly as the black bag is full enough to put out for the bin men this week.;)

LW - sorry to hear about ulcers - I know how painful they can be. You might like to look at following site for some tips http://everydayroots.com/canker-sore-remedies
Thank you so much for this; I've bookmarked it. I can try one or two of the remedies straight away, as I have the requisites in the house.:o Unfortunately ulcers are part of the lupus package.
