Still, as a life goal, having pull-out door handles on your car is pretty modest, I'll grant you.
Not just that...digital dashboard with mpg, telling me how much farther I can get on the petrol I have
I didn't think there was a car built in the last 20 years that doesn't offer that? Plus:service indicators
Again, I don't think that's a new feature, or worth paying extra for?0 -

I was pretty lucky starting out with my 2000 Ka Collection, that trim had electric windows while everyone else I knew had manual wind ones! But I pretty much just want features that I don't have now. My Ka is all dials the only screen in there is the trip!
Seeing the touch screen that can do sat nav and reverse parking in the Pug just blew me away, plus I don't use a handbag but imagine just needing to know the keys were on your person and you can literally just open the door and press the button to go. Technology! Best Wins:

The trouble with smaller cars is that they lag behind what larger cars have had for years. If you were blown away with the 108, I would second taking a closer look at the Up!...0 -

I did but the specs don't seem nearly as good, unless I'm missing something? Best Wins:

Well, not the Up if you want gadgets, because it's like a monk's cell in there. Cheaper models have needles embedded in the seats to remind you that you're cheap. I kid, but not by much.
Really selling it to me there :rotfl::dance: Best Wins:

I wouldn't expect to have a choice on trim and features until the cost is a non-factor in the purchase. If you have plenty of cash and you're just looking for the best deal, then you can compare standard purchases through all Just Add Fuel/HP/PCP/Private Loans on the exact car you want and go with whichever has everything you need (excess on insurance/breakdown/windscreen), rather than whichever saves you money.
If you don't have plenty of cash and you're finding the cheapest deal because it could cause financial strain, there should be no choice on features. Take the best deal you can get regardless of car/trim.
If you're running around finding out this information then the dealership isn't, and the time spent is free. If they are, you can guarantee the premiums show it, or there's an important and expensive feature missingStarted 07/15. Car finance £6951 , Mortgage: 261k - Savings: £0! As the title says I'm thinking of going for the new Peugeot 108 on the Just Add Fuel scheme and I'm looking for some advice and opinions.
I'm 27, will have been driving for 6 years this November, and have a NCB of 6 years currently. I've always bought my cars used with cash with the intention of upgrading (in terms of new-ness and features) every time. My first was a 2000 Ka Collection, already 9 years old when I bought it for £1k. I had it for 4 years when I part ex'd it for another Ka this time a 2007 Zetec which was 6 years old at the time, for £2k.
I drove past my nearest dealership yesterday and saw the advert, looked into it more when I got home. From my details it looks as if I could get the Feline trim for about £240 pm if they take my car as a deposit. Never been to a dealership before though so I'm guessing I could haggle that down?
My first thoughts are can I afford £200 a month, which I can. And what if my circumstances change in 3 years. I do have savings so if I had no choice I'd use that.
I've looked at threads on here about it but what I've found seems to be at least a year old. Just wondering if anyone had any recent opinions or experiences with it?
ThanksRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Also need to remember that with all these deals, you could find yourself lumbered with a bill at the end for scratches and other damage.
They will expect, minor standard wear and tear the car to be given back to them in pristine condition. Deeper scratches can cost a pretty penny.
It's the one thing that puts me off leases. You can be the best driver in the world, but parking in any car park leaves you open to bodywork damage.0
