You guys seem pretty much dead set against it, I only heard of it for the first time yesterday and it sounds so good and it's a lovely car but is it really that bad of a deal? Best Wins:

Indeed it is. Terrible deal. As others have said you could either get a much cheaper lease, or a much better car for same monthly cost.
A 108 is not a lovely car!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -

I could probably get a cheaper lease yes, but a better car is a matter of opinion.
Do all these other companies offering leases offer the same thing, the full term warranty, all servicing done by the car manufacturer etc?
Can you also design it yourself like you can on the website, picking the colour, trim, accessories? Best Wins:

You could try this http://www.autotrader.co.uk
It lets you pick make, model, fuel type, body style, you can even filter by colour and, yes indeed, you can search by keyword to find the trim level you want.
You'll probably find a fair few cars for much less than £240 p/month equivalent. Plus many dealers will offer finance or you could sort your own cheaper equivalent loan beforehand.

The C1 and the 108 are essentially the same car underneath the metal.
Warranty would be the same - regardless of buying with cash, PCPing or leasing.
'Just Add Fuel' is a gimmick - you're paying a premium for them to sort out the insurance and servicing. Do they shop around for the cheapest options? Nope. Besides, do you know what the insurance excess is? Can you add another driver? Are you happy with the type of cover? Vehicle replacement? Windscreen replacement policy/excess?
As I have pointed out, if you lease the C1 you'll save more than £1000 per year...:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Ford Fiesta available for less than £240 a month and that is a CONSIDERABLY better car in terms of performance, handling, ride comfort, practicality (bigger car) and they hold their value well.
If I was looking at buying a city car I'd be looking at Hyundai i10, a Fiat Panda or Skoda Citigo (although the VW group city cars have had a lot of bad reliability reports and premature clutch failure etc. see HonestJohn website)Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

I know they're the same along with the Toyota Aygo, I just think the Pug is the better looking of the 3
Do you thinks it's safe to not include maintenence then? I'm assuming that just means the service once a year, and I can go to any garage for that?
Is leasing even a good idea? I definitely don't want to take a loan out but I'd like a brand new car that I can just pay for monthly. In 3 years time I might not even want to keep it and want to try something else. Best Wins:

If it's a new car, then anything warranty related will be done through the warranty obviously. There shouldn't be anything wear and tear gone in three years (other than brakes but they're cheapish), and standard servicing of a small car is cheap. Is leasing even a good idea? Well based on what you just said there, yes, leasing sounds a good option for you. Just hunt for best deal and you may have to accept that you'll pay more if you're dead set on one particular car as you can't choose where the best deals are.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Ask yourself this - is the Peug worth £4000+ more compared to the C1 over 3 years? In both cases, you'll get a similar car, same warranty, services, fully comprehensive insurance etc. And in both cases, all you'd have to do is 'Just Add Fuel'.
In the end, it's your money and go for whatever makes you the happiest.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
