Hi guys, just have a question for anyone who has ever switched from T-Mobile to EE.
On my credit report, I have had my T-Mobile account for "6+ Years" and it reflects positively towards my "average account age".
My question is, if I make the switch to EE, will they make a new entry into my credit file as "EE" and settle my T-Mobile account?
If so I will not switch, because I am going to apply for a loan soon and need my credit report to be squeaky clean.
Thanks in advance,
Sanjay

I upgraded from Orange (same company as T-Mobile) to EE last year - unfortunately, my Orange account (which I had held for many years) now appears as "settled" with a new entry showing for EE beginning at the start of my current upgrade. I do remember that they told me there was no need for them to carry out a credit search as it was a straightforward upgrade, so I had assumed the Orange account would just "carry on" under the name EE as far as credit reports were concerned, but unfortunately not0

Yes, there will be a new account entry for the EE contract. The T-Mobile account will be marked as settled.0

I did it. They also messed up my DD, leaving me sweating over a potential late payment marker.0
