  • Thanks my darlings xxx
  • Going to try & be more active on here I tend to let this diary go for long periods of time without updating.

I have decided not to just update about my debt but make this a more life diary so that when I am debt free & have my home I can look back on this to see my journey & what got me there.

  • So yesterday me & my best friend went to a Christmas fayre at the SECC & we loved it!!

So much there that I could have just bought but I thought I do not need this stuff so leave it, just couldn't justify treating myself to any goodies right now. Quite happy with myself for that.

    I did buy a few wee goodies;

    • 3 cheeses & a yummy chutney - 15.00
    • 3 oils & balsamic vinegars - 12.00
    • 2 Arran Aromatic gift bags - 17.40
    • 1 Harris Tweed bag for life - 14.50
So the cheese, oils & balsamic vinegar isn't exactly a Christmas gift for anyone, we will have that tomorrow instead of our weekly takeaway.

The Arran Aromatic gifts bags one I will use for my secret Santa, I bought one ladies & one gents. I am hoping I get a girl for my secret Santa so that I can give the gents to my husband as part of his Christmas gift.

The Harris Tweed bad - oh my god I love it!!!!! I will admit that I bought this intending it to be for myself but I am going to give this to my Mum as part of her Christmas gift, that woman never goes anywhere without a bag for life!

All in all for a spendaholic with some available credit on those darn CC's I think I did quite well.

Went for a wee lunch & a few drinks afterwards but was home for about 7:30ish, my husband was shocked usually we roll in at lord only knows what time in the morning.

  • So yesterday had a lovely lazy day at home, had a nice bubble bath & then we went out for dinner with my mum & her partner. Was lovely, home for around 8pm & watched the Adele special on BBC1. She is fantastic, loved the part were she dressed up as an Adele impersonator haha!!

Today we did the usual weekly shop. Came home & enjoyed our treats that I bought at the Christmas fayre. We had a cheeseboard for lunch today & just had our starter which was bread with the oil & balsamic vinegar, I am in heaven. Our meatball pasta is in the oven now & the rest of my night will consist of lying on the couch watching some Walking Dead & then sleeping!

Be back tomorrow for another update on my life.

  • Started work at 8am today. eurghhhhh hate mornings!

I have manager training course over the next 3 days, I don't really want to be a manager but I have been selected to go so can hardly say no!

Once we have this training we will be able to apply to a pool to cover teams if actual managers are off sick or on holiday, can't way I will actually apply for it. I only started my new job in there last Monday so don't really want to be taking myself away from the new role for something I am not really into.

On a plus side I finished work 2 hours early today woo hoo!! Will be the same for tomorrow & Thursday also.

One of the girls from our Welsh office is up so we are going to head out for dinner & maybe check out the Christmas markets after we finish tomorrow.

  • Gads not doing very well with this regular updates!!

Trying to remember what has been happening since I last updated!

Oh had my works night out on Friday, we went to the Panto then out for drinks - it was sooooooo much fun!

Today went into Glasgow for a wee bit of Christmas shopping with my Mum, spent a bit more than I had intended to but its always the same at this time of year!

I am home & settled for the night now, work at 8am tomorrow & have more training to complete for this new job I started a couple of weeks ago. Really enjoying it, much more mentally challenging than the last job which I am loving.
