update to my problem ..... finally back on today it went pretty much as bsod said except talk talk engineers turned up on time , established not my fault and back on 8 days later .... reserving judgement until i have a reliable connection for at least a week

talk talk subcontractor or openreach, the problem is the reluctance to call out the latter.

    only 8 days, ridiculous

  • What are the chances you will be billed for £65?

Pretty high I'd think knowing Talktalk

    Hi Flopsy1973,

if the issue is limited to jsut wireless then you might want to try changing the wireless channel.

If you get the same problem using a wired connection we need to look into this in more depth and check your line. If you post on the TT Community or Tweet us @TalkTalkCare we can run some line tests for you.

    Cheers

    Hi daz278,

If the found was found and fixed externally then you are correct, no charges would usually apply. This is with the exception of damage to OR cabling on your property (you'd be surprised the number of people who cut the line accidentally with hedge-trimmers, ladders, spades, trees etc.)

We can given some reassurance about it by checking the fault report to confirm what actions were taken. Just post over on the TalkTalk Community or tweet us @TalkTalkCare and we can do that for you.

    Cheers
