  • Congratulations on the marriage :)

Sorry to hear about the car. It's either the relay or the motor by the sounds of it. Relay fix is cheaper, but still neither are very expensive to replace.

Wipers seemed to have fixed themselves :undecided

Not going to complain but will expect the problem to occur sometime in the future.

Tried a Tilly Tidy today - a whopping 5p :rotfl:

    Every little helps.

Pay day No.2 has hit the account this month. Sad to say with our minimoon coming up, holiday money needed and credit cards needing payment nothing of this can be saved this month.

On a happier note, £45 monthly interest from my 123 account has been paid to me today :j - Around 4 days of mortgage interest paid by Santander!

I will be away on a sunny island for the next 3 weeks  so won't be updating much. Hoping for some annual interest on my cash ISA sometime while I'm away, so will update that figure once known.

I have the full £20k in there as my current emergency fund. That usually generates £40 net per month in interest. Plus about £7 I get from my DD's as cashback - £2 account fee = £45

What a lovely weekend to come back to the UK. Nice and sunny :) Still feel like I'm on holiday, minus the massive amount of washing to be done.

    Update for this month

    £500 OP
    £30 Ebay sales
    £10 Halifax rewards

Still waiting on some annual interest from my ISA which I now believe will be paid towards the end of the month as well as my 123 account interest.

Now to try and find more ways of saving extra cash to hit my mortgage with

  • Great OP Lippy.

Did you have a nice holiday?

Your quest to be MF looks promising and I look forward to reading more updates.

  • p.s I have a Terramundi Pot as well which I adore. It's such an easy way to save change. It adds up so quickly. Only problem is when it's full, it's kind of sad to smash the jar lol

Yes I won't be happy when it finally comes to smash the pot, but hopefully all the change saved will cheer me up :rotfl:
