That's great MFD. Hopefully we will get some good returns in these shares like yours. I can't see my company going bust anytime soon *touch wood*

Your signature suggests your mortgage balance is going down nicely. Keep up the hard work :)

Payday. Monies have been allocated into their rightful places, ready for the new month. £500 ready to whiz over to the mortgage tomorrow with not a single penny to spare. We have spent exactly what we have earned this month :o

Still in negotiations for my pay rise. I have been offered one, but I am making a counter offer.

    Happy Halloween.

You've also got an OP ready, so that's better than spending what you've earned. :)

    Good luck with the negotiations!

That's how we budget as well, which does deprive me of Tilly Tidies (but also maximises the OP, so that's probably better than being OCD about TTs) :rotfl:

    November
    - £500 OP
    - 2 months reduction in mortgage term (think this means my OP's are becoming more effective now the balance is coming down)
    - Another brick to colour in
    - Reached the £100k's (I think I may reach the 99k mark in December :)
    Total Mortgage OP £61,000
    Outstanding Mortgage £27,971
    Emergency Fund £62,100

Hi lippy! Just spent the past couple of hours reading through your diary. Well done on your progress so far and getting to 100K, I'm sure you'll be in the 99s in no time! I have subscribed so will be watching with interest!

Half progress has been made for my payrise situation. I have been offered an increase but have pushed back and made a counter offer for more. This counter request has been pending for a while, so hoping its going to be good news. Wish me luck!

Looking forward to next month and my final OP of the year. Hopefully into the 99K's :D
