Not much to report until tomorrow, but I have decided to add my shares figures to my signature. £90 odd quid per month is now being taken automatically from my wages, so I wont miss it.

Only 2 more days till I hit the 99ks on my mortgage :D

Only 4.5 hours to go before I can officially make my last OP of the year. So tempted to stay up late tonight just to do it and see the new balance....... I'm actually really sad aren't I lol

In other money saving news, I have managed to make a quick £10 facebook sale and just switched my gas/leccy tariff to a slightly cheaper fix, saving me £1.50 a month lol. Good thing about it, there is no exit fee, so if something cheaper comes along during the new year I can switch for free. At least prices wont go up for a year!

Sooooooo, I have finally bagged my pay increase
It took a while but was totally worth the effort. Means my pension pot gets an extra boost per month from both me and my employer as well as my take home pay increasing by around £400pm. I am very happy.

Looking forward to starting my xmas break from work early and enjoying the time with my boy (and DH I suppose :p)

Thanks guys. Starting my break tomorrow! A nice 3 weeks off. Might mean I actually get my Christmas shopping done on time this year, without the normal last minute rush.

Found out I get a bonus this month, in my pay packet. Although this will mostly be going on DH's family Christmas presents

Anyway, in MFW news, I have decided my plan for 2017. To OP £20k

This will be made up of-
    £500pm OP's for 12 months (£6k)
The rest will come from savings (£14k)

I have just over £3k in 0% credit card debt that needs to be paid off next year and I would like to have at least £6k left as an emergency fund.
This means I am £2k short at present, so need to continue OPing as normal and save £2k on top. I hope with my new salary this will be possible.

    Outstanding Mortgage £27,971
    Emergency Fund £62,100
