    I'm back in the game.

Payday today so I have sorted all my monies in all different accounts, waiting for DD's to be taken next month. I've worked out after all bills are taken, I will have my £500 OP ready to hit the mortgage and savings of £300, rounding my 2nd Emergency fund off to a nice £4,500 figure :D

However, I have just paid for my Vegas trip, so that's £2k gone onto the new CC. And I will need to find some spending money, so may have to dip into the 2nd EF depending on how well I do with next months pay packet. Watch this space.

Don't think I've spent this much so quickly in ages, other than buying my house, a car and paying for my wedding!

Grand Canyon trip booked! So excited. Now just need to save some spending money between now and April.

Off to DS's little mates birthday party this afternoon. No rest for the wicked.

Has anyone else noticed their mortgage has not increased with the daily interest today? When I log on my internet banking, I always see the balance increase day to day, but this day hasn't moved. It's still the same as yesterday.

Maybe the banks are giving everyone a break in interest to celebrate the leap year :rotfl:

  • DH was reading about that today - banks don't count interest for leap year. The article he read confirmed that they don't pay out interest (for savings), but didn't mention whether they count debts as interest. Guess maybe not!

I can live with that, seeing as my debt balance is far greater then my savings balance :)
