    Poor house!

This is one reason I keep our house in digital form and "fill in" by entering dates and changing background colours. That, and DH is colour blind so I don't think he'd care about drawing in bricks. :rotfl:

Well done for getting two bricks done, anyway!

I've gone down a dark road by enlisting a 6yr old to colour in! Thankfully I also have digital copy with the month I completed each brick!

I think I would have had better luck asking a 6 year old to colour in. DH has never really been one to stay within the lines anyway!

Lol. I think I need an online version. Does anyone know if there is a template anywhere I can steal and personalize? Or am I going to have to find some time to sit and create something on excel?

I just made mine up, got a bit artistic with it (red background colour for the main parts, white for the windows/doors). Had to be a little creative with the numbers to get it to work out to the right number of rows/columns to represent a house (got immediate "credit" for the 198k brick as our balance started at £197,100 and I didn't want an single brick hole in our house).

We live in a terraced house so our digital house is 6 columns and 33 rows, so that there's one brick (or window/door piece) for each 1k up to 198k. I used the draw tool to make a triangle for the roof. ;) As we achieve a brick to fill in I replace the number (167k, 161k, etc) with the date we got there.

I would say I put far too much time/attention into my digital house, but it probably took about 15 minutes (longest part was entering each of the brick numbers to track which thousand it was).
