Court Date for BR on Thursday and I'm scared

Hi,
Had a letter today from the OR's office, copying us into what they have sent to our bank. I've tried to upload a photo but I can't work out how. It says the following...
A Bankruptcy order was made against the above named on 13 August 2015.
I understand that the Bankrupt holds an account with your. I am informed that the current balance on the account is £**.**. Subject to any rights of set-off you may wish to exercise, the balance should be released to the Bankrupt.
The Bankrupt has been advised to contact you to agree the continued use of the account. If there are any other accounts held by the Bankrupt, please let me have the details.
Please note the Official Receiver has no further interest in this account
This is one and only joint account which is our current account for all our Direct Debits and day to day spending. We have one account with the Halifax and Santander which has a nil balance.
This has come in less than 72 hours after we've been declared BR - is this good news? Does this mean the OR has been through our account and is happy with it?

Just means they have no interest in the account and it's now up to the bank whether they keep the account open or not.
If it's a co-op cashminder or Barclays cash card account, everything is good! If you bank elsewhere the account may get closed, the two banks you quote aren't bankrupt friendly so I'd get yourself down to your local Barclays branch to get a new account! They may leave the accounts open, but you should be prepared for the worst.0 -
Sorry, I should have been clearer. Our account is a Barclays Cash Card Account. We also hold one with the Halifax (basic savings account with a nil balance) and Santander (dormant). It is no problem if they close these accounts, Barclays is our main spending account. When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Does this mean the OR has reviewed the spending on this account and sees no problems? When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

No, it just means he is happy for you to keep this account as your main account for every day use.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

It's unlikely they have finished checking things after 72 hours, they will review your statements whilst writing up your report for creditors.
They aren't really interested in if you spent £50 or £5 in sainsburys when they look through your statements. They are looking for large transactions, if all you've done with your accounts is pay your bills/survive then you've nothing to worry about.
Your Barclays account will be fine

Ok, well, the only big transactions are our rent and they have the ref and date on the, so she can see what they are and where they have gone. When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Although sometimes I've had an advance of my wage which I have had to pay back once my wage came in.When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Hi again. So, I've had my Mobile Internet banking discontinued. They did warn us this would happen, but why on earth do they reduce your online access? Surely undischarged Bankrupts should be allowed as much access as possible to their accounts to enable effective budgeting? I can still log in the old fashioned way so why oh why do they remove the mobile banking aspect?
