Thank you. I've done probably the most stupid thing I can do and been Googling so read a lot of scare storiesWhen looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Stop googling!!! The OR has said that whilst not good he/she was "ok" with it. Believe him/her.
If cab have made some errors, are you sure your SOA is ok?
Most ORs are fine to deal with. They may not be your best friend but on the whole, they are fair . Please don't worry, in my opinion the worst part is over.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80

SOA was wrong DH and I spent a whole load of time redoing it. Not ideal.
The OR said to me today and in these words 'that it was common sense' not to take a credit card after iva Ok, I get that it wasn't my wisest move now but is it acceptable for her to say that to me?When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Of course it's acceptable, it was also expected. They wouldn't be doing their job if they hadn't inquired why you got into more debt after your IVA failed. Unfortunately this will also come up in your OR interview, so stay calm, give them the reasons why you took out more credit and above all else be honest! If there is one person you don't mess with during your Bankruptcy its the Offical Receiver.0 -
I am completely terrified of her. I intend to cooperate fully and be entirely truthful but what are the possible outcomes? I'd rather be prepared. I've read about restrictions? I don't fully understand what that means tbh. I know you have restrictions placed on you while actually BR bit I've read about them carrying on for up to 15yrs?When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

I doubt very much you would get any kind of restrictions. They are only reserved for serious fraud and serious amounts of money.
My own bankruptcy was down to gambling and I haven't had a BRU. Try not to worry the OR will go through everything with you but as long you are honest they will be fine.0 -
Thank you. I hope she will be understanding with my wages too as they vary from month to month. Sometimes they are more than the amount I put down on the form but sometimes they are less, so I took an average. The past three months I have earned more than the amount but in say, January and February, I don't earn as much and really really struggle.
How will she view this? (P.S. Thank you for the replies guys, really am grateful)When looking at the climb in front of you, don't forget to look back once in a while and see how far you have come:j

Mine are exactly the same, just let her know that the amount you've given is an average. You will probably have to send your payslips in at first, so they can sort out any tax IPA. As long as they've agreed you can use an average then it's fine. And there's no reason why they wouldn't agree! In the months where you get a bit more, then you would be expected to save some money to cover you in the months you get less. It worked fine for me. Good luck.0 -

When I went bankrupt, the first call from my examiner scared me as she was very blunt and not very friendly at all and it made me very nervous about the interview.
When it came to the interview it was like I was talking to another person, she was very understanding and fair when going over how I got into the position I was in. Just be honest during the interview, don't waffle and if the examiner is silent don't feel you need to say anything as they are most likely trying to write down what you've said.
I only had a few more dealings with her before I was transferred over to another person to handle my IPA, I've found them both to be very fair and understanding but they aren't really there to be an agony aunt or best friend.0
