    T@lk T@lk actions update:

    - they've paid for Noddle Alerts for 12 months (worth £20) and have advertised the code on their site, so I've just logged in and set that up

    - I'm going into the bank in the morning, so will ask them to cancel and issue a new debit card - I'd used it for the Speedy Discount so those details are at risk

Moving providers is like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted (even though I am looking around and not stuck in contract with them), already was receiving several scam phone calls per week as it was...though I'd blocked the maximum numbers I could from them, the ones that got through I blew the dog whistle down the phone and they seem to have reduced dramatically :D.

Wonder if they'll all kick off again from other scammers getting details

I might have checked my bank account 3 times today because of this too :o

    Telephone scammers  !! I hate them :( !! I get loads :( !!

I can remember that it wasn't like this in Victorian times.....its these new fangled handheld devices that are to blame. The world's gone mad.....give me a nice old fashioned phone with a dial sitting on the occasional table......that's what I like :).

When our house phone packed up, I read P@nasonic phones had a 'block number' feature, trouble is the maximum isn't enough these days.

I expect your stalk phone with hanging ear piece is a museum piece Broggers...look after it :rotfl: Surprised Mrs B didn't get you to upgrade to a Trill one :D

I too am running out of 'blocked' room and have started saving them as things like no and don't etc. A lot of them are fairly local normal numbers too which makes it harder to ignore them.

    Ali.......you need a mangle :) !!

That's what I used in the old Victorian says.......much better than a TD or an airer. Good bit of exercise too.......not that you need that of course :o !!

    Evening Diary :D

Been a good weekend and steadily crossed things off the To Do list. Glorified shed now built and all the painting done - just window glass to go in and doors to go back on. Really pleased with the quality and colours (after all the procrastination!)

Home office cleared up and DS did some tidying of his room. Seeing some positive changes and he sounds so grown up - listening to him on the phone this morning to a multi-national asking for a work experience placement next year and subject to form filling, he's in :T.

Winter duvets on and debit card cancelled with new one on way...before the news that numbers hadn't been stolen from the TT hack. Just heard they've taken a 15 year old into custody in connection with it...15 for goodness sake

Broggers :rotfl: no room for a mangle :p and only used the TD to fluff up the towels too, the good little MSEr that I am ;)

Architect's bill still not in...so I'm very tempted to increase MOP to £1,050 in 36 hrs time :j. Will take from savings to pay invoice when it arrives.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - Inbox £s - up at £10.28
    - Qmee - pot up at 12p

Had a few NSDs, but a list of purchases is staring at me and that doesn't include the Christmas present list .

Back to the spreadsheets for the MOP - shall I or shan't I is the question....

Weird, but I'd rather have the invoice now and get it paid than have it hanging over me. I know the base price as that was set out at the start...it's the grey area of chargeable changes that could bump it up.

Love my big heavy winter duvet...just more difficult to get out of bed in the mornings :o
