Thanks all - full of codeine, naproxen and diazepam now
A fourth one to avoid probs with naproxen. Cost £33 odd  So also paid £29 odd for a 3 month Pre-Paid dated right to get the £33 refunded...GP said come back for HRT early to make best use of the card
I knew I'd upset the disc from that horrid crunch feeling, now muscles stuck in spasm. Feel for you Hidden, it's horrible and I really want to avoid surgery so got to rest, let it release and repair.
GP is referring me for physio too, seems previous Trainee one I saw didn't do it.
Let's start with the most important financial and that's mortgage interest. £235.51 for April - down £1.88 or 6p a day from last month to £7.75 per day.
Split - £16,865 - now £36.46 p/m or £1.20 per day. Ideally get that under £1 in July. The £92,225 sits at £199.05 p/m or £6.55 per day.
Cumulative reduction since December 13 is £174.83 per month :j
Extension - architect here yesterday and measured everything in sight :rotfl:. She hopes we won't need to go back to Planning, but a wait and see how her drawing looks once she's amended them.
Structural Engineer invoice in and paid - £500. Minor amendments should be FOC, but a wait and see there too.
Financials:
Bank accounts checked - another £6.65 interest in
FPL & LP checked
Inbox £s up a tad at £5.27
Qmee up at £1.07
2 more P!necone preliminaries completed
Got the food shop done as doubt I'll be driving for a few days with the cocktail of meds - spent £34.53.
Annual gas statement in and that's going down by £8 a month :T Nowhere cheaper from comparing without exit penalty.
Almost there with Year End accounts, may use tomorrow to complete and send to accountant and then hygienist appointment in the afternoon. DS off to his friends tomorrow.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Very nice financials!
Hope all the meds/physios do their job properly so you're back to 100% again.0 -
Can turn head about 45 degrees each way now, major improvement, though feeling drunk at 8am (for a tee-totaller) was...odd :rotfl:
In my element with a financial-filled morning
- Moved £3 from P!necone and £1.07 from Qmee
- Applied for and been accepted for a Tesco 3% current account
- Sent accounts to accountant
- Paid final option payment for the car (@ £7k)
Savings are currently spread across:
£5k in Ll0yds earning 4% plus £500 spare after bills
£2k in T$B earning 5%
£2k in T$B Reg Saver earning 5% with 6 months to go
£600 in 1.41% ISA - that'll be moving to the 3% Tesco once opened
Opportunity to move saved tax/ni from SE too, plus need to seriously think about putting OPs into a better paying account - could be I have another 4% Reg Saver at Ll0yds for that - paying more than the 2.59% mortgage rate.
Thinking of resurrecting TTs again but to go against the car loan.
Feels like a nice position to be in
Got some housey jobs done - bins, towels, washing on, hand washing up done and shortly shall be walking to the dentists for the hygienist appointment. Definitely not safe for me to drive!!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Back and she was very gentle with me and £47 lighter  Dislike going too, but a necessary evil it seems! Back in June though.
Lil, yes shall keep this car til it's death or pass onto DS if he wants it.
Still wondering if I've got the savings in the best places and if I should be considering a different account for all the daily stuff and bills. Guess the 1-2-3 account is a contender once I've got a bigger overall pot to put in.
Washing has dried quickly on the line today so another job done.
A tentative £900 capital payment is earmarked for May...let's see what it ends up at!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Pretty similar combo to what I had for my lower disk problems all those years ago! Except I had diclofenac and co-codamol, which got changed to morphine. Diazepam is just for 3 days, Naproxen I've got 2 months worth and 1 months worth of Codeine. Really hoping it makes a difference as not so good tonight. Currently got the wheat-heat lavender bean bag round my neck
More change bags to bank now - £10 in 50p's, £20 in £2 coins and £1 in 2p's.
And another paid P!necone survey in to do.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Hope the lavender does the trick - I've subjected coworkers to the smell on bad days when I take mine to work and use it periodically throughout the day.0
