...and me well I'm very much feeling the redundant spare part....We finally got permission for DS1 to drive to school and take his brother so for the past 2 days thats what they have been doing...commuting by themselves.
It not only leaves me feeling redundant but its also impacting my shopping routines as I now cant pop into T for the deli meat reductions at the start of day....and now that the boys seem to be driving to their after school activities too thats having a major impact ob the end of day reductions in W and T which I previously woould have popped into on a monday and Tuesday evening....

I'm going to have to find a new routine before the freezer needs restocking....

Oh bless you... It's nice for them to be independent but we can't help feeling redundant Could the boys not drop you off enroute to school clubs etc and you make your own way back? Or is it too far?

Morning all.
Day 3 in bed for me. This 'cold' has developed into a nasty. Feeling really ill with severe headache, joint and limb pains, a mouth full of ulcers, sore throat, tongue, and cracked lips. I've spent a lot of time asleep, and feel exhausted. Feeling very low and sorry for myself:(

On a mse note, on Sunday I picked up some of A own air freshener spray refills that go into the metered squirter unit.They fit the Air Wick units we got cheap a while back. They are the Dark Plum and Honey in a red tin with a red top. Sel was reduced to £1.50, but went through the till at 75p. Hth

Qoc enjoy your hols. Take a mozzie clicker with you to treat any bites you get. You can pick one up in Boots at the airport for a fiver. Super bit of kit that really works.

Morning all - don't get chance to post too much but spotted lots of pens, pencils, rulers, calculators even are 10p at sainsburyd locals - stock was going quickly at store I went to. Happy hunting and apologies if already mentioned - not had chance to check back yet :-)

You say your sisters OH has been unwell - but he is fit to travel now which is good, another year it won't be as easy if he becomes unwell again so seize the moment - there is nothing worse than looking back and regretting and wishing you had done something
