I might even start the hunt for DS2 shoes tomorrow. It's hard enough normally that he's a H width fitting and can't tie shoelaces......very limited choice without paying an absolute fortune.....but he's also a size 6.5 now which seems to be too big for most kids styles and too small for men's.
Was just going to say clarks outlet is good for school shoes, we had the same problem with DS1 now he is a size 10, they cost a fortune.
I see LEJC has said the same.FC...on the subject of school shoes....clarks factory shops or outlets have quite a good selection for the larger footed kid...
We've moved to the adult section now as ds1 is very firmly a 10 and ds2 following quickly behind...but used to find that clarks hardly changed their styles much either...at least one of my children had the same style shoe for 4 fittings which took him almost through senior school...
I think from memory that a size 6.5 is still available in quite a large range of the childrens styles which would include the velcro fastenings or slip ons
Snap, I was just saying the same. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Thank you, what APG did it produce?
I have studied my receipt from last night. I didn't realise the Simple compared to Sainsso everything I bought at A was way more cheaper there than Sains
Also realise I should have bought Tic Tacs at T too

FC, my 12 yr old ds is a size 7 now (wider than a H as well:eek:) and can't tie shoe laces (dyspraxia). We have a shop in Maidstone called the golden boot, I don't know if they are a chain but we got rhino shoes from them last year in a 6 1/2, very wide and Velcro, I think they were £50 but have lasted since last September until this July.RISEABOVEHATE
