Sarahidol, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.

FC - rubbish news, but at least it's been caught early. I hope all goes well with the monitoring etc, and that you continue not to have any ill effects. Someone really was looking down on you when that wrong box was ticked. :o

I'm not sure if I'll need a fit to fly certificate or not but the thought has crossed my mind earlier to deal with the insurance. I'll get it done tomorrow along with a few other things I've been lagging behind with these last couple of weeks.

The rest of today is reserved for pottering and being lazy :D Normal service resumes tomorrow.
I need to pull my finger out as well and think about getting the school stuff sorted! I've got 2 entire uniforms and PE kits to get and If I leave it to last minute stocks will be scarce, plus shoes, trainers and boots, pants, socks, shirts, school bags :eek:I'm usually much more organised. I need a list :rotfl:

:( ive been putting this off... Purely because if I buy it, it will become real and I'm not quite ready to face the fact that in 3 weeks time littleman will be a big school boy full time  he's getting excited but I'm not sure he comprehends what "school" entails.

FC...on the subject of school shoes....clarks factory shops or outlets have quite a good selection for the larger footed kid...

We've moved to the adult section now as ds1 is very firmly a 10 and ds2 following quickly behind...but used to find that clarks hardly changed their styles much either...at least one of my children had the same style shoe for 4 fittings which took him almost through senior school...

I think from memory that a size 6.5 is still available in quite a large range of the childrens styles which would include the velcro fastenings or slip ons
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

We do have a Clarks outlet nearby. I have found it hit and miss in the past for wide fittings. I always check there first though before being forced into buying full price ones.
When I was typing earlier I had something ping in my head that there was a brand new pair of Clarks shoes upstairs, still in the box. Why? I don't know but there will have been a reason at the time I bought them :o
Well I checked and there is. Brand new from the Clarks outlet, paid £27.99....the receipt is still in the bag.

.........and they're a size 5.5  _pale_ Gutted! :( I'll have to eBay them.
