So sorry to hear about your holiday Hillbern:o

    I thought you'd gone quiet:o

It's always better to feel poorly in your own home isn't it

SFSB and nanny have inspired me to think about a car boot sale:T there's stuff in the loft and garage that should sell. It's just that early morning start. The incentive is that it will probably pay for a weekend away:T

Are you having birthday celebrations with nikki nanny? Have a lovely day whatever you are up to:T

    Good morning.

Lovely sunny day again today, which means DS and I can do more fence painting.

Going to pop to A's first though for a bit of a muggle shop as don't need any of the things currently glitching, but do need milk, fruit and veg.

Have a lovely day all :)

TM - was it a Lickety Split? We were there a couple of weeks ago & paid £20 for 3 ice creams, which were not as nice as they looked (or my replicas using Asda ice cream & woopsied fruit)

The queue was out the door so we went to the little sweetie shop a few doors along. No wait and half the price. It wasn't a good day for a diet:o

Oh yes! He is not travelling abroad with me looking like he's wearing a Brillo pad :o (he inherited my curls and he has summer holiday growth)

Thank you for your very succinct synopsis of what I've missed :) I have also missed your posts as well. A cruise......how exciting :D Is the Mediterranean really ready for you 2? :p

I was being tongue in cheek about sacking my chef earlier :p he's actually been very supportive. He attended one appointment and the look of panic on his face made me leave him in the car for the next one, I gave up and went myself after that. But the thought was there.

He's also been feeding me :D :rotfl: a lot of the time. I was very shocked to get weighed recently and discover I weighed 52kg (don't know what that is in old money) I only get weighed at medical establishments because I have no scales. But I do remember the last time I was weighed I was at least 10kg heavier than that

That doesn't mean there's a happy ever after in sight. The support has just been very welcome. And it must be nice for him to have something to think of other than himself ;). Keeping a balance where the kids don't get used to it has been the trickiest part

    OMG - 52kg - nothing of you.

When you get to Portugul find one of the little bakeries and buy bags of the special little custard tarts - give a child one each and then eat the rest yourself. Do this every day - you will soon get the 10k back :)

Think I will nanny....I feel so motivated today. Sure it's the sunny weather yesterday. It really lifts your spirits. We lay on the beach for an hour or so in brilliant sunshine with just the sound of the waves and greedy seagulls:D
I'm going to do a million little jobs today so see you all later sniffers:D
