Sat here having an early morning :coffee:French windows open as it's such a beautiful day and there was a horrendous unidentifiable noise coming from the big trees at the bottom of the garden:eek:On closer inspection I discovered the culprit ...it was a squirrel being tormented by a Magpie ...the wonders of nature:T

Morning everyone. It was lovely to sleep in my own bed last night, instead of on an airbed with dd2.

Might swing by It's and see if they have any magazines

    Morning Peeps!
DS and I went to Venice last summer, and we saw the tug boats pulling the huge cruise liners up the Grand Canal. I wasn't aware until then that the cruise ships went up the Grand Canal. It was a fantastic site to see.

That was us last week! Wish we could have another week. Just got the hang of this cruising lark, and it was time to go home! Venice was beautiful, but soooooo hot! Can someone find me a bargain trip to Venice at October half term please?

    Morning everyone-
Arrived back from holibobs in Majorca last night and ive never been so pleased to be home
The last week had been awful_pale_I had a sickness bug started being unwell Tuesday morning:( GS then unwell Tuesday night and have been unwell til Friday, feeling nauseous coming home - but lots of turbulence didn't help when flying over France.
Ive lost 10lbs in weight, unable to top up my tan and DH was billy-no-mates and ate out every evening, and avoided the bug-
His theory was the wee dram or two of whiskey -!!!!
Therefore although I was able to skim read the first week I have only read the last couple of pages so don't know whats been happening :(
All I have read is FC news- thinking what an upbeat and strong person, but would we expect any different - no!!!- she appears stubborn, sarcastic, out spoken and knows what she wants, she calls a spade a spade and you know where you stand with her, she is opinionated - but that's what we admire and love about her- who after the trials and tribulations that she has had to endure especially this year can write in such a humorous way about 'the pee clinic' that had me in stitches:rotfl: Go girl go!!!!

I caught an earwig earlier keep thinking since been unwell that I am seeing things out corner of my eye but this time was real so caught it in a glass and put bit of paper over top to let it out on next loo trip/secret spy session. Bloomin thing has got out and nowhere to be found.

Just shone a torch in the corners near the table where I left it will be worried now. Would rather have coffee grounds escaping in the van than earwigs crawling over me :o

TS hope you are feelng better today. I just just thinking the other day that i have not seen an earwig for many. many years. My aunt used to bring dahlia flowers to my gran and there were always earwigs in them.
