The queue was out the door so we went to the little sweetie shop a few doors along. No wait and half the price. It wasn't a good day for a diet:o

We saw the sweet shop on the way back to the car & said we would try there next time as we stood for nearly an hour to get a seat. I had promised DD Lickety Splits as she had done really well in her SATs. She wanted the bubble gum flavour so needs to queue.

    Morning

Vt your cruise with N sounds like it will be great, can't wait to hear all about it. When do you go?

Can't remember much of what has been posted, sorry. Memory terrible. Hoping it improves as I do. :o

So so night, although much better than being in hospital.

TMI coming, but could do with some help/coping strategies. I am that lady that smells of wee, and will be for at least another 6 weeks. :(
One of wounds has slight leakage, and it's not being contained by dressing.

So, how can I stop being stinky? And how am I going to wash a king size duvet cover every day when I can only just get up and downstairs and can't bend down properly? I could get the cover off, but not back on.

Kids can help today, but they are away on NCS from tomorrow.

Any ideas? I don't want to stink!

Being relatively new to this lovely forum I am just getting to grips with everything and learning a new way of shopping.t

Whilst shopping last night I was looking in snasda for some of the 3 for £5 to go with dove trigger and I came across some Sanex advanced Dermo Repair bath cream which was in the 3 for £5 offer but when I scanned it on msm it came back with nothing. Does this mean that it is like the dove and also a trigger item ???

    Morning Di:hello::hello:

    How are you today?:A

Really well thanks for asking. I have my next lot of treatment on Wednesday and I'm hoping it goes as well as the first lot.

Ah bless you Ladyshopper I so feel for you;)how would it be if you did not bother with Duvet cover and use a sheet under the actual duvet instead of struggling with a cover...might make it a little easier to cope with:A

Thanks nanny. That's a good idea apart from I haven't actually got any sheets like that! Might see if I can order some, as that would definitely be easier. When I'm recovered I will bin the actual duvet and get a new one.

Going to be so paranoid when people come and visit.

If they come to visit surely they know you well enough to know what you have been through?

Other than that, have you got any scented candles you can burn when you have visitors? That would have to help? If I were you I would be living in as little clothing as I could while home alone, drawn curtains work wonders!

Whatever you do, must remember it is obviously only for a short while and will change, and the fact that you worry that you stink of pee probably means that you do not as much as some people I know, and they stink of pee and BO and do not have the same reason as you, just can't be bothered
