Other than that, have you got any scented candles you can burn when you have visitors? That would have to help? If I were you I would be living in as little clothing as I could while home alone, drawn curtains work wonders!
Whatever you do, must remember it is obviously only for a short while and will change, and the fact that you worry that you stink of pee probably means that you do not as much as some people I know, and they stink of pee and BO and do not have the same reason as you, just can't be bothered
Thanks.
I just don't understand smelly people, come across them a lot in my line of work. It feels so horrible being dirty and smelly. Best part of the day in hospital was when I had my bed bath and clean sheets on the bed. First shower was day 10, bliss! Had one yesterday before coming home.
Just summoning up the energy to have one now, I know I'll feel better after it but it takes a lot of energy up!0 -

Bless, you have been through so must. Take care of yourself, and don't worry what anyone thinks x100 -

Vt your cruise with N sounds like it will be great, can't wait to hear all about it. When do you go?
Can't remember much of what has been posted, sorry. Memory terrible. Hoping it improves as I do.
So so night, although much better than being in hospital.
TMI coming, but could do with some help/coping strategies. I am that lady that smells of wee, and will be for at least another 6 weeks.
One of wounds has slight leakage, and it's not being contained by dressing.
So, how can I stop being stinky? And how am I going to wash a king size duvet cover every day when I can only just get up and downstairs and can't bend down properly? I could get the cover off, but not back on.
Kids can help today, but they are away on NCS from tomorrow.
Any ideas? I don't want to stink!
Morning
I hope you at least felt better to wake up at home this morning.
I have no practical advice about your worries but I can understand why it bothers you and I think any of us would feel the same.
Being stinky is something you have to endure to recover. Not nice at all but unavoidable. Try not to focus on it too much, it's temporary. Just do what you feel comfortable doing, go where you feel comfortable going and most importantly see who you feel comfortable seeing. Anyone who genuinely cares about you will understand. Never feel uncomfortable in your own space. If you don't want to see people because it'll make you feel like that, politely put them off. Again, if they care they will understand.
You've got through the hard part brilliantly. Just put yourself first and get better by doing whatever you need to. And have a hug
Well so much for our promised sunshinestill, it's dry at least. Hopefully it will stay that way for our day out.

Am feeling a bit:(as the pressie I ordered Lala for her Birthday has not arrived in time from Laura Ashley:eek:so just got up a picture of what it is on the lappie with the receipt to show her alongside a lovely card and full price;)double white orchid as she is popping in on her way out for the day ...best laid plans and all that:(
Nanny my friend is the dispatching parcels team leader in LA & she has been off this week on holiday - I blame her for not getting your parcel dispatched. When she is in charge she can get all the orders dispatched

This really made me laugh, thank you! Thanks for other posts too, I do appreciate them. I know I'm going to have to get over it, only me that will be bothered etc, it's just not nice. I'm sure I'll get used to it and find a way of dealing with it (perhaps while smelling of oilbas oil!).0 -
